  • here is the link I was talking about...you can go directly to 1:46, and see that bleu arrow used to illustrate ( watch?v=rwMon5diIvE ) I know he is using JING software, but I just want to know how this is done, even with Snagit...take care

  • @kamelamine2006 Try asking him. I know how to record, but I'm not into editing right now. Can't find a good linear editor. I've been using Camstudio instead of Snagit for the last year or so. I just wanted people to know about Snagit because it's useful and more simple to set up.

  • @rpgreseller thank you, for all your answers, and time spent in reading my comments, take care

  • we of course are hearing you echo voice coming out from that video too, telle me please I saw in some videos, tthat some users make pause on the video to make comments or to draw things, how to do that, please? I mea to comment thing while the video is in pause in snagit?

  • @kamelamine2006 You can press the 'pause' button if the interface is open. I just map the pause/record function to F9 so I don't even have to bring up the interface.

  • @rpgreseller and then you can start the video playing again from the same point you stopped it? so like that the video when it is run, you can see your comments in a pause looking then continuing? I do not know if my idea is clear? take care

  • @kamelamine2006 Do you mean you want the video to stop, but the voice continues playing? That would require a special video editing program. Snagit always records both video and audio at the same time.

  • @rpgreseller I saw in different ocasions, some videos, the video plays untile a certain minute, then stopped, the scene is still fixed on the video, but you can see comments, arrows for explanation, and some shapes also for ilustration, as the explanation is over the video continues to play until the end, this is my idea ( i know it's not done by snagit), if I have chance I can show you the link, just let me remember where is it on youtube, take care

  • Thanks for your video tutorial.

I've made an AVI file using Snagit with my Yahoo Avatar animated image, I've also made the AVI into a GIF using Amazing Photo Editor. But, the GIF is not as clear as the original Avatar animation. How can I make the GIF having the same quality as the original animation? Thanks.

  • @CielBleu I'm not sure. Be sure to look at all compression options when saving the file.
