  • wow! where can i get those avatars man xD? nice anime avatars :P

  • @X2N18 wallbasedotnet

  • @Hazeeffect1337 yess :D

  • WOW nice cable management for it being an antec 300 lol

  • @points2shopPROOF Thanks dude, I really did the best I could with it! It wasn't pretty, but I did drill out some cable management holes and used electrical tape because I couldn't find any uchannel trim at Home Depot

  • what are the temps on dark Knight?

  • @CerealzTheDude I took off the overclock, but it's usually around 40-50c I also cleaned the heatsink a bit so the temps are better than usual.

  • @ThisGuyJohn no more 4.0Ghz?

    aww ; ;

i need some new thermal paste or fans.

    3.7Ghz OC

not sure if 34c Idle, and 62c load is what its supposed to be. (prime 95) 4 hours

  • @CerealzTheDude Naw that's fine dude. Temps sound pretty good. But you're using AMD now right? I'm sure they have about the same temp threshold as Intel's.. So yea, those temps are fine for an OC that high. I'm not gonna bother OC'ing again until I move up to the new i7's i9's and all that good stuff.. I still want a MBP though :/

Also I never got to 4ghz stable, only 3.4 and even that crashed on me now >_>

  • I have the same motherboard, I love it!!!

  • @Sundownerr I want an x58 though! lol

  • Pretty good Mid-Range build, lol @ sexy cartoon fetish.

  • @bubrockit Gotta love great art with great technology lol

  • I like your build alot! (You must have balls to have those wallpapers, I would but I prefer something more *ahem* subtle) Just wondering if you have any experience overclocking [judging by your GHz. I have a fair build my self and was always curious about overclocking. Maybe I could ask you for some pointers or even flat out lessons? ;x

  • @mPowerGmbh I also use wallpapers of nice "subtle" planks of wood too! lol And yea, I overclocked from 2.83 to 3.4GHz stable using a little help from another Youtuber. Overclocking takes a ton of patience; you just want to keep the voltage as low as possible so you don't have to have excess heat going to parts of your motherboard and CPU. Trust me, you're better off Googling (your CPU+overclocking) and reading others who have had the same OC exp than asking me. Feel free to ask me on specifics

  • Yeah I have a rather respectable build. I'll post specs on your channel comments so I'm not constrained by the comment limit. I want to use my computer to its limits because I strive for performance.

  • @mPowerGmbh aight cool

  • PS : I use Hatsune Wallpapers :D

  • @mPowerGmbh hahaha >:3

  • We have the same mobo, same cpu but i have mine running at 3.77GHz, cpu cooler and same hard drive, lols just because of that i'm going to ass you as a friend and i rarely add ppl from youtube

  • @D4rkC1own187v2 sickkk What are your settings that got you to go to 3.77? I can get to 3.6, but I can't pass any stress tests :(

  • ok cool i know what im gettin now thank you for your help :) btw will there b more game vids?

  • @juggalox22 What games do you have in mind? I'm putting up a series of videos for the remaining teams that are playing for the superbowl.

  • with this mobo can i use the intensity pro cap card? and can i use a evga 295 video card?

  • @juggalox22

    Of course

  • Your PC looks great!!! I have the same mobo!

    I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card from an Asus HD 4670 512MB DDR3 to a Sapphire HD4870 VAPOR-X 1GB DDR5.

My current PSU is a Gigabyte 450watts capable of reaching upto 500watts. Do I need to upgrade this too.. to power my VGA card?

Also I noticed you have a BlackMagic Intensity Pro card. Why do you need this? I do HD video editing and I never understood why people get this card which costs a whopping $200!

  • @imster BMIP for perfection of HD video capturing for games predominantly. I can also use it to stream my HD camcorder if I ever so choose to. If I didn't care about quality, I wouldn't have purchased my HD camcorder, the BMIP, or anything inside my PC. I could've just went with a pre-build PC.

Yes, you'll need a stronger power supply for the 4870. Also, go with the HIS brand if possible. Sapphire isn't known for their "quality" from what I've read around by a number of unhappy Sapphire owners.

  • love the domo sticker ;D heh

  • tyty ;D!

  • curiosity got me here, where you get your wallpapers from?

  • wallbase(dotnet) and animepaper(dotnet) are places I go to specifically for wallpapers. I do end up finding some other good ones just browsing around.

  • sick

  • Awesome your using Gigabyte technology me to:)I think it can play any graphics card it use because i used an ati 6650 and geforce gts 250 no problem at all

  • It can use ANY GPU that is of PCI-e technology. You just need the power supply that can power up any card, like my Corsair 750w.

  • im using a 750 watt ultra plus sli ready

  • Yea that's good, you should be able to handle any one card. But in SLi, it'll probably just be up to two mid range cards (like two GTX 260's or two HD4870's) at best.

  • Nice setup John. How much money was the computer excluding the monitor?

  • Let's see.. Mobo: $134 cpu: got it for $170+30 warranty and tax, usually $250ish gpu: got it on sale for 200, usually 230ish ram: around $45, it's almost $90 now... psu: still just $100ish dvd burner: any of them hovers $20-30 case: on sale for $34, usually about $50-60 heatsink: about $40ish HD capture card: $190-200 WD caviars; black= $90, blue= $60, green= was on sale for $50 My blue led fans inside the case were extra $8 each, 300 only came with 2 black exhaust fans. i'll continue next post
  • OK so, I didn't actually pay for the front MNPC Tech front panel mod, and the side panel is on my dad's Antec 300 because the side panel/dual 120mm fan grill doesn't fit with my Xigmatek Dark Knight. Each one of those is about $20 each on his site. The cute little domo sticker was like $5 hehehe

So in total (excluding the cans of paint I wasted on my original 300, the modded front bezel and the holes I personally drilled for cable management) the build was about $1100ish but worth more now. :D!

  • some sexy shit you have there sir

great editing and HD made me cream my pants

  • sanksyuu sir :3

  • LOL nice! what happened to the GTS 250?

  • It's definitely not cutting it, compared to the HD 4870. the 250 is more on part with the 4770 and perhaps the 4850. It's not even as good as a 9800gtx (NOT THE + edition) I only purchased the card because the 750i FTW was being an asshole to me. So in turn, i ditched both of them for my old Gigabyte p45 and HIS 4870.

  • Now that's gangster status.

  • TE stick got and love it

  • nice set up

  • nice

  • hai jawhn. :D

  • Finally, another vid..... of your PC. I almost jizzed :)

  • lol ty ty
