Super tough level...if you had the wrong "side" weapon you were in for a jump/whip/timing challenge of epic proportions. It was great training for CV3!! With axes or the ultimate damage doing/slow weapon Holy Water....you could make it look easy though...

This stage is for me the epithome of how hard this game truly was. From start to finish, level 5 and the final boss itself never pause for you to recover.
It's a punishing and scary level.
How come current Castlevania aren't like this one anymore? I am really worn out on the metroidvania thing.
