Ya people need to give LED's a shot... You can't expect the same results with 85w of LED as a 1000w HPS. Imagine the same amount of wattage(1000) from LED's, the results would surpass HPS...
ditch the blue leds and load up on the cold white. I think you're looking for the highest kelvin on the label according to the wiki article on cfl's. So it's either daylight or cool white. Higher the kelvin, the bluer the light. Don't use red during vegetative phase. But go heavy on red during the flowering phase.
Not enough light and not close enough to the plants. LEDs really need to be *touching* the leaves. I believe that LEDs are ideal for certain things and can at least match an HPS if enough wattage is given but there still is much to learn.
Not bushy enough. Try more blue light to increase green growth. Those look like "bud lights" to me. They deliver more red light to induce budding and flowering.
