Its a really nice game but what about Djokovic - Federer 2011 semifinals i think was US O???Also amazing and as well the match in which Del Porto beats Federer in US final!
It seems to me that Federer doesn't really insists playing with his drive more often (Federes drive is stronger then his rever) & to do so he should try more play Nadal to his rever and not Federers rever contra to Nadal drive!!When he really does it he has much more possibilities to win but if i am not mistaken seems to be over confident to his rever that even if is amazing isn't so strong and Nadal takes advantage since he is left handed to play his drive to Federers rever..if u agree thumbsup
Nadal said "Sampras match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. a few swings of the racquet. For me in the past it was just serve"
arrogant smug
Clay excluded. Successive win 0. If grass and a hard court are fast. Like Sampras era. Nadal is able to win only with clay. Nadal is the power tennis of defense and muscles. boring ugly. All the surface is slow now
this two camed with a new generation os tennis. before it was normaly just hard serve volley and point won. and then winner all the time and the match where not entretainment. it where most just amazing shots.. but this two camed with a tennis where there is big rallys both returning all balls. even Novak has trained his defence.. novka didint run so mutch as he has done this year. retunring all balls. and that has made him win. he ''copied'' nadal abit by returning all the balls ;P
@DonChilenito Federer in 2008 was in the slump from illness. It is the beginning of a decline of his play. a decline of the old age his age. started it. And the grass from 2008 is the fact of being extremely slow. All the surface is slow now. The player of defense like Djoko or Nadal. They can go for the final of all the surface why. like a Sampras's era. in fast grass and hard. impossible. If Roger won also 2008 This game is also the same treatment as 2007. never say "best game ever" never
This game is overestimated truly. Federer who was governing grass lost. Roger was not the best in this game. He was the beginning of an age decline. And lateness of clear grass. The noisiness of Nadal in a ceremony is proving it. The flag of Spain is shaken. hangs and turns around a coat. runs up on a royal box. etc. It was very good that Novak Djokovic won Nadal this year. Since it proved that Nadal cannot win successively other than clay.
@sportstennis1, overestimated? both where at their best here... Federer started bad but camed back.. Nadal beated Federer Mentally in this match they both where even... this year Novak have played with two players that are exhausted. the only thing that keeps nadal alive atm is his will. he doesn not like to loose. Nadal and Federer have been dominating the Tennis world for 4-6 years, Novak started to raise in a good year though. both Nadal and Federer where bad.
@Rafathaman94 The Wimbledon match was super hyped. The reason it's so well advertised as the 'greatest match ever' is because of the hype beforehand (Federer and Nadal had already played each other many, many times), it was Wimbledon, there were a number of rain delays, darkness, etc. Federer played ok, but not as good as we are used to seeing. I would say the Safin Federer AO 2005 match was better than both of those matches. Prime Safin vs Prime Federer, offensive tennis at its finest.
Djokovic and Nadal are clearly blessed with the slow present surface age. In the Sampras's fast era. final of two defense players of such never continue.
@Rafathaman94 I think US Open 2011 semi and final match is better than AO 2009. Obviously you are Nadal`s fan, and I am Djokovic`s fan, so we wont agree. Best match ever in three sets is Djokovic vs Nadal in Madrid 2009 semi-final! :D
@doctornov7 RG? Nadal was able to win 2011, because Roger won to Novak in SF. nadal continued losing the final to Novak in 2011. If Djokovic is carrying out to the final.
@doctornov7 are u dumb? nadal showed in 2005-2006-2007 and federer won them all, if u think that's an excuse then federer was injured in 2008 and still showed up and reached the final... nadal didn't even bother showing up in 2009. wtf u talkin bout man, federer would have won 2009 way either.
@ZianiEzz nadal didn't show up in 2009 because he had tendinitis in both knees and his parents had just split up as well. federer only won so many grand slams cause no one was around to stop him apart from roddick, hewitt and a bit of agassi. nadal, murray, djokovic, tsonga where still climbing through the rankings. if you brought a 24 year old federer now he would not have won as many grand slams. just look at how many grand slams he won this year. none. he's not that good.
@doctornov7 he's 30 years old now lol, look at nadal barely winning 2 grand slams a year and still young...
Federer now best player in history and i'm not the one who's saying that but every single player said that , even nadal himself said that. something you can't deny, maybe if you watched Federer back to 2004/2005 you yourself would be impressed by the way he was playing and defeating all top players back in the days when he was in the same age of rafa/djokovic and other top players now.
This was the first tennis match i watched..and i wasnt a Tennis fan or didnt even played tennis at the time..It was after watching this Match; Wimbledon finals 2008 that i realise Tennis is an Amazing sport..
Why do many people say that this was the greatest match in history? I'll rewatch it again soon, but from what I remember Federer wasn't exactly playing lights out tennis. Is this a case of the match being great not because of the tennis displayed but because of the names involved, the occasion and the scoreline?
@unapologeticmind It's mostly the media (surprise, surprise) that really hyped this match as the greates ever. Federer and Nadal had already played each other numerous times, Nadal beat Federer super easily in the RG final just a month before, it was their third straight Wimbledon final, and many saw this as Nadal's first Wimbledon triumph before the match. The match had some great rallies, but the first 3 sets or so were not that spectacular, Federer was mishitting a lot.
@unapologeticmind I think it's the occasion and scoreline, like you mentioned, but it's also media hype. IMO, matches like Safin Federer AO 2005, Safin Agassi 2004 AO, Agassi Sampras 2001 USO, Borg McEnroe 1980 Wimbledon, Becker Sampras 1996 YEC are much higher quality matches. Most people forget that coming into the tournament, Federer was in one of his worst slumps. He didn't have a good spring campaign, got rocked by Nadal in RG, and had a case of mono for several months after end of 2007.
@unapologeticmind . Federe was playiing great.. not the first two set.. but he played amazing after.. and did amazing points... thats why.. only cause he lost big the first sets.. doesent mean he was not playing good..
@DonChilenito i totally agree. not only the fact that i find this the greatest match ever, and this is THE longest finale in singles tennis ever, Roger was awesome, he may have started of slow but Nadal was just too good. this was truely a battle of the titans :D
@unapologeticmind As a tennis quality game, best I've watched lately (usually memory only remembers the freshest; even tho I am convinced I've seen better) is the Australian Open semifinal between Nadal and Verdasco.
But in a surface like Wimbledon's, this game is the best you can get in term of overall tennis. Sure Roger wasn't very accurate, but it was mostly due to Nadal's uncomfortable game. In term of shots, rallies, score, suspense, physical demo, etc; best tennis game on outdoor grass.
This for me was the greatest tennis match I have every witnessed. A five-set thriller between the top two players, two of the greatest modern-era players of the 21st Century. It was also an ever-so slight changing of the guard, and proved that Nadal was brilliant on another surface other than clay. For me, the most epic and exciting tennis match ever!
I wish Federer would have won this. So badly, I don't think any of you understand. But just think, imagine having 63,000,000 US dollars, having the perfect wife with 2 beautiful children...playing tennis with friends / champions. That's the life that anyone who plays tennis seriously wants. Like this comment IF YOU AGREE!
@Addict599 Personally, I believe this match is a little better because of the fact that it was a final. The level of tennis was at its highest in both matches though.
For me one of the most beautiful matches ever. The ideal of a classical player (he is indeed a dinosaur with his style, we will never see a player like him again) and the superathletic modern player with so much feeling (watch and listen to his backhand volleys he saws the ball) playing on gras.
Sampras,in his time, didn't need to change his game in order to win wimbledon. Surface hasn't been changed throughout 90's. Federer on the other hand, from winning his first wimbly in 2003,had to change the game a little bit year by year, especially on grass, Surface changed, got slowed, the game became more physical with players like Nadal.Djokovic....so I think Federer has more variety in his game overall than Sampras and ....he is just simply little bit better
Why does Federer rush into the net with some really poor approach shots? He just wants to end the point even before it starts these days ... i wonder why?
Federer broke Nadal just once in the entire match .. that's weird considering the fact that Nadal didn't have a big serve then .. Djokovic broke Nadal 5 times in the 2011 final !
@fenderboy211 Not really. A player plays as good as his opponent lets him. Federers game does not trouble Nadal so it is Natural that Nadal can set up these shots against Federer. Against Djokovic however, he tries to do this, but he can't. Rafa didn't make any excuses, he lost to Djokovic because Djokovic played MUCH better than him.
@RRTurbulence watch?v=R3YHeL04r5I take a look at this. Nadal's Wimbledon titles are not legit as it seems when they kept slowing surface speed and increasing weight of balls. He is very bad at returning thigh level balls compared to shoulder level where its his strongest part. I bet federer was surprised in 2008 nadal can return much better than 07 and 06 finals causing him the first 2 sets. Yeah i am not saying he dont deserve the titles but atp AKA rule-setter is king of tennis.
@jim19851 and they slowed every court since 2002. Meaning all of Federer's wins came on the same surface as Nadal. If Nadal's wins aren't legit, Federer's aren't legit.
@kumoasis You're quite right, except that slowing down the grass at Wimbledon hasn't been the only reason. Improvements in technology means you can hit harder, in other words, rackets are these days designed for people who swing fast from the baseline, like Rafa, Djokovic,Murray, etc...This is why, progressively, less net-players are winning Wimbledon. If you seriously think baseliners have balls made for them solely to win Wimbledon, why hasn't Monfils done it yet?
@kumoasis. and that has nothing to do with it.. in that case.. nadal shots would be harder to take aswell as they bounce high.. they would bounce higher then... so your comment is full of crap..
I don't think djokovic would have beaten nadal in 2008. It was clear djokovic was defeated by a slightly beatable by still a dominant federer. In fact, in the 2008 wimbledon final, nadal was better prepared and thanks to the valuable experience he gained from the 2006 and 2007 loss to federer. However, even everything nadal has changed in his game, federer still had the ability to come back from 2 sets down to 2 sets all. Although, at the end nadal had more will to win the crown.
why almost all the highlights belong to roger??and why nadals highlights are roger's fault or to simple like just sending the ball to the other corner??
Fed fans gotta quit making so many excuses for him. It's just as bad as the Nadal fans with the constant injury excuses. Sometimes the truth is cold. Nadal is a horrible match-up for Federer no matter where they play and always has been. And Nadal is not unbeatable, even when he is 100%. They put on a great match in '08. It's best to just leave it at that.
@MrDonnie54 Yeah, because lumping two different surfaces together makes so much sense, right? What an argument. And since we're lumping surfaces together, outside of grass, what's Federer's h2h against Rafa? What a silly argument. Federer only leads on grass and that's it. He lost their biggest match on HC, lost their biggest encounters on clay, and lost 1 out of 3 of their biggest encounters on grass, and that was the last one they played. Federer in no way has the ascendancy in their rivalry.
when its all said and done, nadal will be the goat. Federer needs to win 2 more GS if he wants to keep nadal away. nadal will win 6-7 more GS i think and he has 17-8 against federer + olympic gold and davis cup win so if they end on same amount GS nadal will be greater based on that.
@juvefreddan true.. and i don't see Federer beating nadal in a slam again ! so i think nadal will eventually get ahead of Federer in no. of Slams won. ! Even if federer manages 17 ....nadal wont be able to get to him !
I always support Roger but I respect Rafa. They are the best tennis players of all time in my opinion. That was really the best tennis match ever. Even if Roger losed it, he palyed his best tennis he can perform, but Nadal was too good for him, Nadal really played his best match ever in this final. I think that after the rg 2011 semifinal, Djoko will not be able to reach any grand slam finals. Ihope to see a Roger - Rafa final it will be so exciting. GO ROGER!!!
@TheFedererNadallover this is your opinion. In my opinion, Federer cannot beat Nadal in a Roland Garros final because Nadal is the best tennis player on clay but on other surfaces they have 50/50 chances...And be careful... Nadal can lose the match against Muller today...I want to see a Roger-Rafa final because it'll be real tennis in it...For example, a Nadal-Djokovic final starting with a set won by Nadal will be an ended final...
@TheFedererNadallover So I think Roger can beat Nadal if he wins the important points. If he will play same the break/set/match points as the normal points he can beat Nadal...
@rogerfedererfan98 Muller could not have won . Rafa always plays the important points very well... converts on most Break Opportunities he gets where as Federer doesn't . He played a horrible 2nd set Tie break at RG final vs Nadal. Nadal plays his best when it matters most . Federer .. not anymore .. he used to do so up until 07!
@TheFedererNadallover Nadal playes JUST the important points very well.Roger plays all the points as well as he can (he's 30 and Nadal is 25...) He's so talented and he moves so naturally on the court. He actually plays his best tennis and he plays now just for his pleasure. He doesn't play for titles, points, sets, breaks or matches he playes so relaxed every point and that's the difference. That's what makes him different from Nadal who plays very rough...
@TheFedererNadallover And we are bored seeing these kind of players. Roger is a master in all that he does on the tennis court...And Nadal still is a boring baseliner...I really really think that Delpo will beat Nadal in 4/5 sets. Roger has a very easy way through the semis...Djoko will be the only tough opponent. Nadal will not be able to play tennis at the highest level from 2012 in my opinion. He plays like Borg. Do you remember how Borg retired. Nadal will retire like Borg in my opinion...
@rogerfedererfan98 Nadal is plenty capable at the net. He's improved that part of his game a lot. Ask JMac. He's become a lot more offensive the last few years, w/ improvements to his serve, his monster forehand, & his willingness to come to net. So please, enough with that crap. It's not like Federer is a serve and volleyer either. He sticks to the baseline too most of the time. If Nadal's not your cup of tea, fine. But why do you Fed fans feel the need to shove Rog down everyone's throat?
@ElReyDeClay Man do you realize that if De Potro beats Nadal , Nadal will not reach the final and will not be able to play against Roger...Roger has an easy way to the final...And about the improvements...I think that this improvements are available just when he plays against Nadal,Djokovic,Murray,... I love tennis man....And I think Roger means Tennis...Not Nadal...I think Roger doesn't refuse tennis and plays every match the same, Nadal plays real tennis just in 2/3 matches of a tourament...
@rogerfedererfan98 What are you going on about now? I don't even know where to begin to respond to that. Sorry, but you don't make much sense. Maybe english isn't your first language, so.... I'm not making fun of you, but you're really hard to understand. Remember it's just tennis. We all have our favorites. That kind of goes w/ the territory. Trying to change people's preferences is pretty weak though. Just enjoy yours and let others enjoy theirs.
2:45 federer made big misatke that cost him the 1st set. he dictated the rally and only needed bit anticipation for the right winner. that run to the rim was stupid...... he always play worse in crucial points against nadal.....
@makaveliguy Federer swing way too much. Just need to play solid, mechanical and pull nadal left and right with safer strokes. No rush to waste energy to attack. Every match nadal lost is against this kind of play. Agsint novak, del potro, davydenko etc..
@youziness Easier said then done. I love it how federer fans make a lot of excuses every single damn time federer loses to nadal. Nadal won because he was playing better, you bitch!
@nadal354 I am not Federer fan but a tennis fan. Nadal fans like to assume. At least i support tennis, not anti-tennis. I support Djokovic too and anyone who tries to play tennis, just not anti-tennis running and always aiming high up the moon for every shot desperately.
@youziness No, you're not a fan of tennis. Just a desperate hater who, looking at your profile, spent his whole day trying to belittle an all-time great.
I'd love for some of these morons to actually try to hit one of his balls. Really, if you're so wonderful, why aren't you #1 in the world?
@ElReyDeClay shows u are too obssessed with my profile. I write whole day but u can't because u are probably slogging off. I don't care whether i play tennis or not, but i like to watch anti-tennis get owned.
@youziness Obsessed? Haha, don't flatter yourself. You're really not that interesting. And your tennis knowledge is nothing to be proud of, really. Tennis is just the name of the sport, guy, nothing more. "Anti-tennis" "Owned," sounds like you just stepped right out of a clownish message board. All cocky and confident like you really know what you're talking about. Hey, go out and try to play your way up the ranks and see how far you get. See how much respect you have for these guys then.
I'm sure people will disagree with me but I maintain that Federer played better in the 1st set overall (only marginally, of course). The 1 break point he faced was lost due to a really unlucky bounce.
I wish the federer/nadal fans would stop bitching, real tennis fans care about the tennis on court, not comments made off it. This match was incredible, can't people just leave it at that?
@jazzswingsoulblues You're right, true tennis fans will admire the quality of the tennis played, but there's just too many kiddy sycophants around always running their mouths.
@KaminariKatta if U want to talk like a pro then look on nadals and federers extreme spin in the ball so you know why the ball bounces so "fucking" high :)
LOL, I think Rafa is getting so much better now, the only surface he isnt good enough is hard court, even though he won the USOpen, he still needs more practice on hard court and win a Master Cup
On grass Nadal is the best right now, you have to say that in 2009 Fed was a bit lucky Nadal was not there
@alo781ooo what a loser are u !! u suck roger's dick until u wont admit that Nadal beat the shit out of him in most Grandslam finals...and like roger gave thousands excuses ! Poor Roger cant get into only 1 slam final this year hahahah maybe u can pray for him more than u usually do lmaooooo
@alo781ooo your actually stupid yanoe you can fuckin see is playin his best u fool! dm if fed plays him wenever, nadal is tooo good for him! watch if these two men make the fianl of 2011 ne money nadal beats him weather w.e excuse people make up its bullshit! fed cud be in the best form going & nadal will still win! dont start with tha bullshit SOREEE LOSERRR GROWW UPP U LITTLEEE PRICK
@alo781ooo I think the only way Federer can beat Nadal now is doing a lot of approaches and coming up to the net. Of course, he has a chance in trading baseline rallies, but Nadal is just so good at rallying now, and is as mobile as ever. Federer needs to end points fast, because it's too difficult for him to keep up with Rafa's pace now.
lol @ 2:13- everyone is cheering except the one dude who's enjoying his coke :D

I believe that US Open 2010 semi-final, Djokovic vs Federer, is only match which is better than this one :D
Addict599 6 months ago
@Addict599 Personally, I believe this match is a little better because of the fact that it was a final. The level of tennis was at its highest in both matches though.

For me one of the most beautiful matches ever. The ideal of a classical player (he is indeed a dinosaur with his style, we will never see a player like him again) and the superathletic modern player with so much feeling (watch and listen to his backhand volleys he saws the ball) playing on gras.

nadal has a such a unnatural forehand,I can't watch it.....but he had more nerves that day...all credit to him
TheDobardecko 7 months ago
Sampras,in his time, didn't need to change his game in order to win wimbledon. Surface hasn't been changed throughout 90's. Federer on the other hand, from winning his first wimbly in 2003,had to change the game a little bit year by year, especially on grass, Surface changed, got slowed, the game became more physical with players like Nadal.Djokovic....so I think Federer has more variety in his game overall than Sampras and ....he is just simply little bit better
TheDobardecko 7 months ago
Why does Federer rush into the net with some really poor approach shots? He just wants to end the point even before it starts these days ... i wonder why?
TheFedererNadallover 7 months ago
@TheFedererNadallover conserve energy to last throughout the match? idk =p
13141beizi 7 months ago
Federer broke Nadal just once in the entire match .. that's weird considering the fact that Nadal didn't have a big serve then .. Djokovic broke Nadal 5 times in the 2011 final !
TheFedererNadallover 7 months ago
notice how all of Nadal's shots are deep and near the lines. He is a shadow of his former self. This Nadal would have crushed Djokovic.
fenderboy211 7 months ago
@fenderboy211 Not really. A player plays as good as his opponent lets him. Federers game does not trouble Nadal so it is Natural that Nadal can set up these shots against Federer. Against Djokovic however, he tries to do this, but he can't. Rafa didn't make any excuses, he lost to Djokovic because Djokovic played MUCH better than him.
RRTurbulence 7 months ago
@RRTurbulence watch?v=R3YHeL04r5I take a look at this. Nadal's Wimbledon titles are not legit as it seems when they kept slowing surface speed and increasing weight of balls. He is very bad at returning thigh level balls compared to shoulder level where its his strongest part. I bet federer was surprised in 2008 nadal can return much better than 07 and 06 finals causing him the first 2 sets. Yeah i am not saying he dont deserve the titles but atp AKA rule-setter is king of tennis.

@jim19851 Goran Ivanisevic's Wimbledon title isn't legit because he doesn't know how to play tennis.
BezCiceNemaPrice 5 months ago
@jim19851 and they slowed every court since 2002. Meaning all of Federer's wins came on the same surface as Nadal. If Nadal's wins aren't legit, Federer's aren't legit.

@kumoasis This sounds like an excuse from a bad loser.
LocoAullador78 6 months ago
@kumoasis You're quite right, except that slowing down the grass at Wimbledon hasn't been the only reason. Improvements in technology means you can hit harder, in other words, rackets are these days designed for people who swing fast from the baseline, like Rafa, Djokovic,Murray, etc...This is why, progressively, less net-players are winning Wimbledon. If you seriously think baseliners have balls made for them solely to win Wimbledon, why hasn't Monfils done it yet?
Shodai24 4 months ago
@kumoasis, i am not saying he dont deserve the titles, but you coment shows the opposite
DonChilenito 3 months ago
@kumoasis. and that has nothing to do with it.. in that case.. nadal shots would be harder to take aswell as they bounce high.. they would bounce higher then... so your comment is full of crap..
DonChilenito 3 months ago
if djokovic had played nadal in the final in 2008 he would have won on the form of yesterday! he was that good!
ssj9997 7 months ago
@ssj9997

Mopzboy 8 months ago
Fed fans gotta quit making so many excuses for him. It's just as bad as the Nadal fans with the constant injury excuses. Sometimes the truth is cold. Nadal is a horrible match-up for Federer no matter where they play and always has been. And Nadal is not unbeatable, even when he is 100%. They put on a great match in '08. It's best to just leave it at that.

Rambo0784 8 months ago
Rafa is lucky most of the face ofs were on clay, on all the other courts, federer leads 5-4
MrDonnie54 8 months ago
@MrDonnie54 Yeah, because lumping two different surfaces together makes so much sense, right? What an argument. And since we're lumping surfaces together, outside of grass, what's Federer's h2h against Rafa? What a silly argument. Federer only leads on grass and that's it. He lost their biggest match on HC, lost their biggest encounters on clay, and lost 1 out of 3 of their biggest encounters on grass, and that was the last one they played. Federer in no way has the ascendancy in their rivalry.
ThePennsylvaniaKid 8 months ago
when its all said and done, nadal will be the goat. Federer needs to win 2 more GS if he wants to keep nadal away. nadal will win 6-7 more GS i think and he has 17-8 against federer + olympic gold and davis cup win so if they end on same amount GS nadal will be greater based on that.
juvefreddan 8 months ago
@juvefreddan true.. and i don't see Federer beating nadal in a slam again ! so i think nadal will eventually get ahead of Federer in no. of Slams won. ! Even if federer manages 17 ....nadal wont be able to get to him !

In the second set, Roger did what he did in the rg 2011 final in the first set...
rogerfedererfan98 8 months ago
I always support Roger but I respect Rafa. They are the best tennis players of all time in my opinion. That was really the best tennis match ever. Even if Roger losed it, he palyed his best tennis he can perform, but Nadal was too good for him, Nadal really played his best match ever in this final. I think that after the rg 2011 semifinal, Djoko will not be able to reach any grand slam finals. Ihope to see a Roger - Rafa final it will be so exciting. GO ROGER!!!
rogerfedererfan98 8 months ago
@rogerfedererfan98 u should hope not to see a Rog rafa final because Federer can't beat Nadal in a slam final !!
TheFedererNadallover 8 months ago
@TheFedererNadallover this is your opinion. In my opinion, Federer cannot beat Nadal in a Roland Garros final because Nadal is the best tennis player on clay but on other surfaces they have 50/50 chances...And be careful... Nadal can lose the match against Muller today...I want to see a Roger-Rafa final because it'll be real tennis in it...For example, a Nadal-Djokovic final starting with a set won by Nadal will be an ended final...
rogerfedererfan98 8 months ago
@TheFedererNadallover So I think Roger can beat Nadal if he wins the important points. If he will play same the break/set/match points as the normal points he can beat Nadal...
rogerfedererfan98 8 months ago
@rogerfedererfan98 Muller could not have won . Rafa always plays the important points very well... converts on most Break Opportunities he gets where as Federer doesn't . He played a horrible 2nd set Tie break at RG final vs Nadal. Nadal plays his best when it matters most . Federer .. not anymore .. he used to do so up until 07!
TheFedererNadallover 8 months ago
@TheFedererNadallover Nadal playes JUST the important points very well.Roger plays all the points as well as he can (he's 30 and Nadal is 25...) He's so talented and he moves so naturally on the court. He actually plays his best tennis and he plays now just for his pleasure. He doesn't play for titles, points, sets, breaks or matches he playes so relaxed every point and that's the difference. That's what makes him different from Nadal who plays very rough...
rogerfedererfan98 8 months ago
@TheFedererNadallover And we are bored seeing these kind of players. Roger is a master in all that he does on the tennis court...And Nadal still is a boring baseliner...I really really think that Delpo will beat Nadal in 4/5 sets. Roger has a very easy way through the semis...Djoko will be the only tough opponent. Nadal will not be able to play tennis at the highest level from 2012 in my opinion. He plays like Borg. Do you remember how Borg retired. Nadal will retire like Borg in my opinion...
rogerfedererfan98 8 months ago
@rogerfedererfan98 Nadal is plenty capable at the net. He's improved that part of his game a lot. Ask JMac. He's become a lot more offensive the last few years, w/ improvements to his serve, his monster forehand, & his willingness to come to net. So please, enough with that crap. It's not like Federer is a serve and volleyer either. He sticks to the baseline too most of the time. If Nadal's not your cup of tea, fine. But why do you Fed fans feel the need to shove Rog down everyone's throat?
ElReyDeClay 8 months ago
@ElReyDeClay Man do you realize that if De Potro beats Nadal , Nadal will not reach the final and will not be able to play against Roger...Roger has an easy way to the final...And about the improvements...I think that this improvements are available just when he plays against Nadal,Djokovic,Murray,... I love tennis man....And I think Roger means Tennis...Not Nadal...I think Roger doesn't refuse tennis and plays every match the same, Nadal plays real tennis just in 2/3 matches of a tourament...

@makaveliguy Federer swing way too much. Just need to play solid, mechanical and pull nadal left and right with safer strokes. No rush to waste energy to attack. Every match nadal lost is against this kind of play. Agsint novak, del potro, davydenko etc..

@youziness No, you're not a fan of tennis. Just a desperate hater who, looking at your profile, spent his whole day trying to belittle an all-time great.
