Good post. The budget might have been cheap but the actors were the best. Hollywood would have spent millions on each episode but employed actors for their sex appeal instead of acting ability. Can you imagine Brad Pitt doing a TV show? No? Brits go from stage to TV to movies and back without blinking.

I miss his style in the books too - but I cant imagine anyone otehr than Sean doing him justice, and for that I can forgive the fact that hes blonde...much better choice than Mr McGann...only thing with the hows...they were so different to the books...and Sharpe always needs savin by Harper! How did he ever survive without him! lol

Hello there, I'm glad you enjoyed the vid! I'm more familiar with American music than Brittish, because I'm Brazilian, that's why I chose Pearl Jam. I always pay attention more to the lyrics than to the music when I make fanvids also, so what mattered to me was what the music was saying, more than where the band was from. Moreover, I must confess that it is hard to hear or know any Brittish music here, but Oasis or Beatles. *Brazilian hugs*

Ya' don't like Frogs? Very tight budget Most of battle scenes in Sharpe pretty skimpy with extras like maybe 50 soldiers comprise the entire French/British army going into battle. The crew/actors lived in tents, not hotel budget was SO cheap! everybody got sick, skinny bad food. Challenge had 4 million pound budget but episode 1 to 14 low, low budget!
