  • ok i've been to the Arizona and they showed a video before we went over and it was much better then this..

Fact: there was a guy aboard the arizona that was given a watch or necklace or something and later that day the guy who gave him the watch found it ashore...

  • A Bombs were test of A bombs

U.S. used two type of bombs

    dropped cities not damaged

so you know how bombs work

  • is there any real footage for this event ?

  • @grozenko Yes, there's some Japanese footage that was shot from some of the planes in Fuchida's attack force. There's also US footage that was taken shortly after the attack--I'm not sure if there's any US film shot while it was in progress.

  • i hate when people call pearl harbor a terrorist attack, if we (america) did that to them we would call it a strategic military operation with 0 civilian casualties, so for payback we wipe out 2 entire cities of all civilians, women and children

  • @corehustle ummm 1775 army navy and civilians died

  • 14 seconds a white ufo 135 231 a ufo on right then up top point is america planed pearl harbour with japs top rich all wars are planed by aluminati even back to north and south hiroshima was part of there plane just like 911 against the muslims they blew there shuttles up with help from aliens 911 shuttles pearl harbour 1st 2nd war all there evil plane

  • And to think that the U.S. is the only one who could invade, destroy countries. This is somewhat similar to what the U.S. did to Iraq...killing so many lives too. Hooray for Japan!!

  • @kiheitek100 you know at first i was wandering what grade you must be coming out of to use such ignorance on such a sencitive matter but i see now that it doesnt matter becouse some peaple will never be properly educated on the things that went on that day but untill you are refrain from posting stupid comments with such a low amount of backbone supporting them that they almost dont matter and what exactly led you to watch a video about Pearl Harbor

  • Ironically, the Pearl Harbor attack was flawed. They did not destroy the fuel stores and repair facilities. I read a book by Saburo Sakai who commented that there had been a mistake in the attack execution. All the attack really did was change our war plans to make the carrier the center of fleet operations instead of the battleship.

  • @rpsmith221 That would have happened anyway, despite the fact that many of our Navy's leaders were "battleship admirals" who believed that decisive battles would be fought by opposing lines of battleships. Certainly the fact that our Pacific Fleet was without battleships after Pearl helped this along, but in the Pacific, the carrier would emerge as the new capital ship because of the geography. Also, growing evidence was showing that battleships were pretty vulnerable to air attack.

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA

  • Look out

  • The atom bomb was a necessary evil that brought the Japanese leaders back to reality. Harry Truman did what he had to do.

  • The guy who came up with the plan to bomb Pearl Harbor was against actually doing it. He feared it would awaken a sleeping giant and he was right. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was the beginning of the end of WWII

  • REmember , all of our modern ships were out to sea. Also, war was the only wat out of the depression. Having reason to enter was the only way the US could do so. Yet holding their own, Britain and Russa were taking a beating...Read between the lines..

  • Japan got more than what they deserved.

We bombed a city, we are not proud of that.

200,000 Japanease died, that's more than what they deserved.

    Children died, innocent citizens.

  • @MrJellyRocks answer one question: why did they bomb pearl harbour?

because they were greedy for land! thats why! why did the americans bomb their citys? to forse japan into surrender so the japanese would stop bombing the americans! so if they got more than they deserved... they started it

  • @METALLICARULES11 They didn't bomb pearl harbor for land. They felt America would evenually enter into the war on the allied side and the only threat to Japan would be the US navy. This was a premptive attack to try and weaken the navy and protect themselves. But yeah they did deserve it

  • @MrJellyRocks They got exactly what they deserved and Im proud of it. I do not advocate war and violence but if a country declares war on the US I want to destroy them. A life is a life. regardless of age or innocence.

  • @football5680

Does the U>S belong to you DAD or MUM ???

What is the U.S to you ????

  • @MrJellyRocks Our conventional bombing raids were killing many more people than that in Nazi Germany; in Japan too, for that matter. Why does no one make an issue out of that? Innocent citizens died in every nation's bombing raids against cities during that war. No one except Hitler (with the Blitz and the V1/V2 rocket attacks) wanted that to happen, but it was a fact of life. If Pearl Harbor hadn't happened, we wouldn't have dropped a single bomb on the Japanese.

  • one decenting vote?..was it a chink or a liberal retard?.....lmao...

  • @MatrixFactoryGuy dumbass. Read a book.

  • This even happened 70 years ago, the facts are done. And we still have assholes argueing about this? Seriously?

Do you guys have anything else to do in your lifes? Or argueing about WWII is the best everyone can do?

    Seriously.

  • WOoww 70 years

May all hero's who gave their lives rest in peace.

  • Here's an interview from survivor Ray Garland. What a tragic event.

    video ID=VbBlqHonIwA

  • I don't have any ill feelings against the germans for attacking pearl harbor....it was a loong time ago,...but when we invaded Japan on D-Day I felt that at least we were fighting for the men who died in their ships that day

  • 70 years ago at this exact moment 7:48 hawai time the attack began.

  • It's a heavytoll that the U.S. had to pay needlessly for underestimating the Japs and its navybeing too complacent in the Hawaiiian paradise that turned into an inferno, in an instant.

  • The Japs historically only carried out sneak attacks, whether against their Asian neighbors or America, because they are cowards by nature, which is no exaggeration or lie to those who know their history well.

  • @iamonewhobelieves ah yeah this is real footage. how do u think they got the video footage. duh

  • Is this actual footage from that time?

  • today is the 70th anniversary of pearl harbor. now all anti american and anti japan folks please shut up both the countries did things that are regrettable now stop.

  • It is well that war is so terrible -- lest we should grow too fond of it.

  • Comment removed

  • The attack on Pearl harbour is one of the worlds best executed attacks and shows how important suprise and deception is in warfare.

Luckily for the USA, their carrier ships were out on a operation. Therefore none of them were destroyed.

  • Even though many of you people think what we did to Japan with the atomic bomb was an act of aggression or an act of terrorism, the Japanese do no. Recently, Obama went to Japan to apologize for what occur in those two places where we delivered the atomic bomb. The Japanese government did not want him to apologize for using an atomic bomb.

  • The scariest part, something far worse can now happen. People should beware of Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt and perhaps even Syria. We are already making so many enemies that if war does occur, the USA may very well loose! We are too weak militarily, have our defense stretched out and economically.

  • @sgal88 WEAK? your calling the strongest military in the world WEAK we have the best gear, tanks, planes, even ships. we should fear them, but not to in extent of where th U.S might LOSE. our allies will help if the pretty much all of asia attacks us.

  • @MrNinjakillu Our allies are weak as well. We are talking about 2 billion plus against perhaps 750 million. Added to the fact that if we get attacked on our own home soil, we wouldn't be able to put up much of a defense since the vast majority is over seas. When WW3 occur, the draft will b implemented as well because of insufficient arms on the ground.

  • @sgal88 You're retarded. US has the largest naval and air force in the world, and almost 5x the military expenditure of China and Russia combined. Not too mention the next leading countries would be UK, France, Germany, and Japan, all of which are _US ALLIES._ when you say 2 billion plus I hope you don't mean troops, because no vast number exist. Neither does 750 million. Ground troops does not mean NOTHING.

  • @guropsy You're a shallow person who has no idea what is occurring to this country today. The US is bankrupt and practical slaves to China. China was even mentioned in Europe to help bail them out. Second, our Navy and Army is stretched out and if truly large, they would not impose or suggest a draft, but they are if WW3 were to occur. We are in a weaken estate and Russia and China have a greater advantage then we when we keep getting into ppl's business, like we r doing in Syria.

  • @sgal88 US only owns %7.8 of it's debt to China. The US owns most of it's debt to itself. Russia and China will be demolished, what is happening in Syria affects human rights.

  • @sgal88 dude, quality over quantity! we have the best! our allies are extremely strong. i might just be 12 and dont know whats happening with the econom,y, but our militia will win if WW3 ever happens.

  • @MrNinjakillu False. Britain was the world power for a great part of the 19th century but lost it due to the economy. Financially we are weak and can be our Achilles heal. We can't and won't be the superpower and many people are realizing it. Read Pat Buchanan's new book. This is something that you should be aware of. We will be weakened.

  • @sgal88 thanks for telling me. ill look at that book you told me about. hopefully we can climb out of debt. thank you. i like to believe that we will be the superpower for a long time

  • @MrNinjakillu I admire your optimism. I really do. But from your point of view, it seems as though America is all good or at least worthy of our trust. Unfortunately, America is going down a slippery slope that might cause us big. You are young & smart & I'd recommend not only the book but also 'drudgereport(dot)com' & watch "The Obama Deception." Our government is scrweing us over IMMENSELY & it will affect us with war. Also from time to time, watch Alex Jones on yt. Thanks

  • @sgal88 thanks. for all of that. i hope that a good president will come soon. God Bless America

  • Irainians are all ready all over America no one seems to notice any more then all the illegal Mexicans in America taking over our air waves to insight riots in our streets, attack our policemen. I go to courtrooms and the oath no longer has 'SO HELP ME GOD' in it. I go into the unemployment appeals and there is some hen scratch writting on the wall that is a Koran or Sharia. What are they doing in our government offices?

  • Those people or their anti American sentiment activitiesprotest and no one takes notice, they shut them out because it's another invasion being covered up by the communist in our country. Mexicans don't want to be Americans, they want to take America, it's why they insist on not learning our language, waving their flags and naming our buildings they take over after their country!

  • The jap's attack on Pearl Harbor was part of a much larger conspiracy; just as Roosevelt's forknowledge of Dec 7th was also part of that larger conspiracy as well. For those who created WWII were not only controlling the COMMUNIST Roosevelt--but also the japs and nazis as well. For all the countries involved were just tools, used in a war that was created to further the global-dominance of the ultimate Evil of Earth. One will fully understand WWII when they come to know the real enemy of the US.

  • This is an act of cowardice which the humanity will always remember.

  • @drafness If, or better yet, WHEN it happens, we will also end up launching nukes as Iran and anyone backing them. However, I think it still stands, that no country will support them if nukes come into play. They'll be on their own fighting NATO. IF they so much as nuked Paris, London or New York, they'd be nuked until their pitiful nation was nothing but glass.

  • @drafness I was going to compliment you on the way you resiliently questioned my views about why I agree with Israel having nukes, but disagreeing that Iran should have them.

But, you decided to once again act like an asshole at the end of your previous argument. Iran has already threatened to attack NATO missile installations in Eastern Europe and the Middle-East. If they do that, we'll retaliate. They'll get so paranoid that they will inevitably Nuke nations in NATO.

  • @drafness Perhaps the fact that Iran has been building up Nuclear Arms? Or, is that okay? They've done more than name call. For what reason would they need nukes if they had no intentions on using them on any other nations? Decoration? To feel cool?

Once again, I'm 18 and just as, if not more intelligent than you are...but the way you carry on like any of this argument matters is childish and pitiful.

  • My partners not evil and she wasn't there either! Build a bridge...get over it!

  • @drafness Oh I will have fun shooting those dune coon mother fuckers. You seriously have a prejudice you need to work out with a specialist...This amount of hate is unhealthy. If you consider yourself educated, you wouldn't hate an entire nation's people because of mistakes they've made in the past (Hiroshima and Nagasaki not one of those mistakes). Hate our government. I do, I cannot stomach it. I just back my flag and troops because I am an American. Cheers for being anti liberal, but grow up.

  • @drafness Their oil supply was cut because the Imperialist pigs invaded China, again, without declaring war. Our fleets were itching for war, yea. But we were waiting for a direct excuse to get involved.

We are hardly Israels bitch. If you knew anything, smart one, you'd know that Israel is U.S. Supported because we need an ally in the Middle-East to keep pressure on all the warring nations out there. You wanna call me a terrorist, be my guest you ignorant fuck. Go fuck Obama, liberal punk.

  • Cheers Howard Hughes, bombed with their own plane!

  • U ARE THE REAL TERRORIST...... FUCK U USA!!!!!!!

  • why are pple still arguing about this? the past is the past...move on..

  • i am glad i was not born when that happened

  • fuck you usa, ok i know many people died that day , but only soldiers died , but you have to kill so many innocents in japan, fuck you and fuck your atomic bomb

  • Yal need to shut the fuck up cus non of u ass holes where there to see it ...sdfu ....ugh ...u ack like u was there watching

  • And now your XBOX,PS3,PC,iPod...cellphone... are mainly made out of Japanese hardware.

  • Lemme guess This was Americas fault too ...

  • I guess you people do not know some aspects. One of them is that Hawaiian king once visited Japan and plead to Meiji Emperor that Hawaiian native had been treated as slave by white people and they wanted to have some help from Japan. That is why there are many old Japanese immigrant in Hawaii. Second is that there still exist Bushi-do mind in Japan even today. It is very weird for old time Japan to make sneaky surprise attack to the enemy. There must have been a sound reason.

  • This attack occurred without so much as a declaration of war by Japan, because the coward bastards would rather sneak attack a foe that couldn't shoot back. the Japanese warrior has always treasured "Honor"...What is honorable about attacking a defenseless fleet at anchor? They attacked schools, the highways, hospitals etc..And we're supposed to feel bad about nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Fuck off.

  • @NATOFidelis you're so ignorant, it's insane. Then again, you're American so it's no surprise you've swallowed propaganda like cum.

  • @NinaBella93 Speaking of utmost ignorance...

You clearly don't even understand what you yourself are saying.

  • @NATOFidelis Of course I fucking do. All you Americans do is fight fire with stronger fire and expect no-one to retaliate.

  • @NinaBella93 That was completely irrelevant. What the fuck did I say wrong in the first place anyhow?

Angry that I said Hiroshima and Nagasaki were just moves on behalf of the Allied high command? Because, for the record, it was VERY just. IT was either obliterate 300,000+ people, or chance loosing another 1 million+.

Stop being so bias, honestly. You Brits always to seem to hate Americans for reasons yourself cannot even place correctly. We helped defend you from the Nazis. Stop bitching. :P

  • @NATOFidelis Reasons you yourself*

  • @NATOFidelis Clearly you don't understand "honor" in context with the attack, you also don't know the facts as to why there was no decleration of war. I don't understand how someone can make such a bold statement without actually knowing facts or simple concepts. On top of that you're actually trying to defend nuking another country? That's pathetic, I know you mean well but you're hurting the imagine of a proud and strong America with this macho bullshit comment. Nukes are never justified.

  • @LatinoVibe When millions of more lives are at risk, nukes are very much justified.

  • @NATOFidelis Completely agree. I'm from Australia, long-time US allies. If the US invaded Japan, then Australian forces I think would also have to go. It would be much more bloody than the atomic bombs were. Every man, woman and child in Japan would have to be killed before you could raise the American flag. I also agree with what you said about Pearl Harbour, they thought they could get rid of America quickly, well they got a rude shock. My grandfather was in the AIF in the war too.

  • @sparghast Thank you Aussie ;)

Pleasure to meet you. Much thanks to your Grandfather who served in the AIF. Australia was a very good Ally to have. They fought hard as hell and didn't take shit from the Japanese.

  • @NATOFidelis Thank you very much. God bless all those brave American, Australian, British, Russian and all Allied troops that fought against the evil Japanese and German empires. Thank God America dropped the bombs or else the war would have been a lot more bloody. My mother used to tell me that grandad never talked about the war because he saw such horrific things that the Japanese did to POWs (he wasn't captured thank God, or else the family wouldn't be here). They were monsters those Japs.

  • @sparghast I have to say that the US killed so many Japanese non-military citizens. In Tokyo air raid on March 10 1945, 300 B-29 put the fire bombs in residential area in Tokyo. Firstly, they made a large fire circle and prevented many people from escaping out of the fire circle and dropped many fire bombs in the circle. Many houses were burnt and as many as 100,000 infants, small children, ladies, the old were burnt to death like charcoal, just one night. We call this massacre as war crime

  • @NATOFidelis Also one of my uncles served in Korea and another one in Vietnam.

  • @NATOFidelis

"the coward bastards would rather sneak attack a foe that couldn't shoot back"

Of course. To gain the element of surprise has been the aim of every military in history.

To attack the main naval base of the world's most populous, wealthy industrialised nation - knowing it may result in war, is lunacy, not cowardice.

They probably saw the US stand by while millions died and all of Europe except Britain fell, and thought - 'if they let the Nazi's be they might do the same with us'

  • @NATOFidelis Japan sent decalartion to the US in advance of this attack. However, the Embassy of Japan in Washington made a fatal mistake in taking too much time for translation of secret codes into English. The US side would like to make this as a sneaky attack and often ignore this story. Even today, US histroians tell that the President knew that Japan would attack Pearl Harvor. All the air carriers were out of the Hanour. Japan did not intentionally attack citizens.

  • @nekonohige2 Actually the Japanese took too much time typing the ultimatum due to the lack of a skilled typist. Army and Navy intelligence in Washington had received and decoded the ultimatum before the Japanese Embassy did, but it didn't get put in the right hands before the attack. In any case, the Japanese were supposed to deliver it only 30 minutes before the attack on Pearl Harbor, which wouldn't have been enough time for Admiral Kimmel in Hawaii to be prepared for it anyway.

  • @NATOFidelis According to this video in 110 minutes, japan killed more than 3,000 Americans. According to another source, approximately 200,000 thousand Japanese died by nuke in Hiroshima. Yes this was cowardly of them to attack pearl harbor, but No, it does not give ANY country the right to take 200,000 lives, when only a few of those lives gave orders for the attack on pearl harbor. Let me add a quote from The co-pilot, Captain Robert Lewis, after dropping the bomb "My God, what have we done?"

  • @brzkid16 These bombings were not in retaliation for Pearl, yes, many consider them to be revenge bombings, but the reason as to why the U.S. Nuked the Japanese is very clear. The Japanese WOULD NOT SURRENDER. You people need to stop looking at just the bombing, and watch and read up more about the events leading up to this. The Jap's knew they were losing after Midway, but persisted to fight. They held on to Okinawa for months, refusing to surrender. That cause more blood shed. Hense the nuking

  • @NATOFidelis you are right japan made 5 year olds make hand greandas and did not go to school.

  • @NATOFidelis I completely agree and this is what I always tell people. Dropping the bombs killed 200,000 Japanese people with 0 US losses. Had we invaded millions would have died on both sides. They were not going to surrender if they actually had a chance to defend themselves they would never surrender. They had no defense for the bombs so their only choice was to surrender because we would keep going till they gave up or we destroyed everything

  • @football5680 To true, mate!

  • @NATOFidelis Completely agree, man!

  • @NATOFidelis really? like 2280 people died in this attack, while the hiroshima and nagasaki nukes killed aleast 200,000 people or more. so i guess according to you america lives are obviously 10 times more important than japanese lives.

  • @islamloverist Did you not read what I JUST finished saying?

I just said, these bombings weren't revenge for the attack on Pearl Harbor.

For the record, to love Islam is to love Fascism and Nazism.

  • @NATOFidelis no thats not true, fascism and Nazism are evil, and islam is good, we dont go around commiting genocide against nations or people across the world, and start world wars.

And for the record, Nato sucks.

  • @NATOFidelis

lol coudlet help to think of uss war strategy to attack the same way a few decades later when reading yours

  • @NATOFidelis we japanese attacked a naval base. americans attacked 2 major cities with millions of innocent civilians.

  • @sawdudeful Yet, that makes one more acceptable than the other?

  • @NATOFidelis thats what your saying. as we know, war is simply war. then again, attacking civilians who has nothing to do with there military shouldnt be killed. not trying to offend you or anything but think about what happend in 9/11. im pretty sure those people who were inside the building were innocent. p.s. you obviously don't understand the meaning of "honor". but i don't blame you, it's cultural difference.

  • @sawdudeful Lol? you want to play this game sure. You do know japan held their own holocaust right? killed many innocent chinese and raped them. The attack on pearl harbor killed many innocent navy units who have never shot at someone. And by the way we nuked MILITARY Cities if we wanted to kill millions of innocents we would of nuked tokyo as well. Were not going to show them mercy and you do know they used forced civilians in japan to fight back the U.S right?

  • @VanillaCookie1337 LOL what are you talking about? what game? sorry i dont remember talking to you. haha :)

  • @sawdudeful your saying we kill innocent people, that a double standard in case you don't know what the japs did as well

  • @VanillaCookie1337 LOL were not a dumbass not knowing our own history. we know what we did. rape of nanking, bataan death march, etc. just cause we did it doesn't mean you americans can do the same. yes its true, what we japanese did is a war crime. but why should the u.s. do the same? thats why americans will never learn from history. don't call us "Jap" or anything. you think you fought in the war? quit acting like you did. get over it.

  • @sawdudeful Yeah and we didn't do the same, please name the event of such a massacre in our country PLEASE, a complete failure of an empire, even china laughs at you japs.

  • @sawdudeful Learn fom your history and see why all neighboring countries hate you /watch?v=c-99EUmWyk4 good thing those days of military glory will forever be put down

  • @sawdudeful America doesn't play when it comes to war. If you kill 1000 Americans we will kill 100,000 of your people. The earliest laws were basically the Hamurabi code which was an eye for an eye. America plays and eye for 1000 eyes. Thats how we deter countries from attacking us. They know we will come back and do things 100 times worse.

  • @football5680 of course every country does that. you thought america was the only country does that? maybe thats why the u.s. is hated so much.

  • @sawdudeful Yeah that is a good point but we care more about our citizens and the seurity of our country over what people think about us. I would much rather be safe over being liked by other countries. Before other countries attack us they have to ask themselves is the punishment worth it and with the way we come back at other countries it makes that answer an easy no.

  • @football5680

Check what happened here America does play when it comes to war LOL check for yourself and dont reply saying it was mistaken identity LOL

    investigateusslibertydotcom

google it and see who controls the world not you Americans

  • @NATOFidelis But when you think about it we did what they did twice...so if it's not just as bad its possibly even worse. Both sides should feel guilt either way, because of the war we ended up creating the deadliest weapon known to man.

  • @NATOFidelis you do have a point but the US were being unfair restricting trade to japan. however, i do disagree with the attack, i believe they had reasons

  • @sirbobification Of course they had reasons, but we restricted supplies to them because they refused to leave China. They weren't just conquering it, they were committing thousands of atrocities every day to Chinese civilians, and members of china's military.

The cutting of oil and other such supplies used to wage armed conflict were rightly cut off by the U.S. To Japan.

  • die american fags :D

  • @CaioIgarashi Clearly you are extremely sadistic and ignorant.

  • @CaioIgarashi fuck you asshole

  • @hikerdude4000 That's not an answer, the question raised by "NATOFidelis" was "we're supposed to feel bad about nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki?" I would further ask, if all Japanese were to fight to the death/ suicide attacks (under duress we now know) Did the allied forces not have the right to destroy those who were willing to take their nation to death, to protect Allied young men and women in services?

  • @hikerdude4000 The massacre of 250,000 innocent Chinese civilians by the Japanese military during the senseless and brutal Zhejiang-Jiangxi campaign of 1942.More Than The Atomic Bomb. The lose of Over a Million Americans and Countless Japanese were SAVED by the atomic bomb.It prevented an invasion of Japan.

  • @SmokeBojangles well said..thanks!

  • @SmokeBojangles

It might have avoided deaths... OR NOT.

You are justifying it with the fact

'If you don't surrender, we will kill ALL OF YOU'

Blaming them for the murders you would commit.

They refuse to surrender? Murdering more is even worse.

    That is confusing.

LET'S KILL A BUNCH OF INNOCENT CHILDREN... To save our soldiers!

    Pfft.

  • @SmokeBojangles you are right i still can not belevie people think about this weapon.

  • @SmokeBojangles You, my man, are intelligent.

  • @SmokeBojangles It did prevent many deaths, or maybie not. History can not be guessed.

But you have to admit it was still a massacre.

  • @spanish111japan

    investigateusslibertydotcom

  • I would like to point out that the decision to drop the bomb was not an easy one to make by the US. After the first one was dropped the Japanese military did not believe it was anything but a white phosphorous bomb. After the second one, they were still willing to fight.

Sadly enough, the Japanese are still paying for the war. The two cities bombed have high cancer death rates due to lingering low radiation.

  • The Moro Crater massacre is a name given to the final phase of the First Battle of Bud Dajo, a military engagement of the Philippine-American War which took place March 10, 1906, on the isle of Jolo in the southern Philippines. Forces of the U.S. Army under the command of Major General Leonard Wood, a naval detachment comprising 540 soldiers, along with a detachment of native constabulary, armed with artillery and small firearms, attacked a village hidden in the crater of the dormant volcano.

  • @CaioIgarashi i am 100% with you

  • One documentary was funny because they said that they never reported the planes on the radar as they did not trust it so even though it saved us on countless occasions they still did not trust it and there was a conspiracy that the president knew this would happen but said nothing to them as it would make people want to fight
