can someone explain - if alistair's mother is Fiona the elven Grey Warden from orlais, then he was conceived after rowan died, wasnt it? why would his birth need to be hidden from her? Did David Gaider make a mistake?
@chochang85 it probably is left over from when Alistair was originally intended to be older- they reworked his character into a younger, happy go lucky guy
@Addaisgrl Alright. I have to admit, I'm starting to have my doubts. However I'm 90% certain he said it somewhere on the forums. I'll keep looking, though I might be mistaken. =)
@Evillordc pretty sure I've seen all his statements on the subject and he recently corrected someone who said the same thing, and re-stated that he had *not* confirmed it either way. he did say at some point we would find out what happened to Maric and Fiona, so maybe in the new book coming out in August he'll tell us what's what.

After beating the game they should of let you join him after in game+ so you could use him through most of the game.
