Sounds like the gasoline is less than premium and I for one can attest to the fact that if you run 93 octane or higher, the engine will run better and sound better. I have a 2003 Stone and a 2004 Stone. Both arrived and sounded like beer cans rattling in the wind, but after the gas change, it sounds like a real Italian bike with a throaty character that sounds great.

I really want one of these and make into a bobber. solo seat, exhaust wrap( american style headers), no front fender, blinkers and gauges removed, drag bars with internal throttle. that would be badass
