ummm read the net nutrality bill,, why does it give the presisident of the US full authority over all networks public and private, without oversite from congress without warrents,, and at the presidents discresion can shut down monitor take control of any network including smartphnes,, wake up people,, this is decon,,, the fine print is what the government wants ,, they dont care about the anything about fairness,, they want the control , the side issue they are sneaking in the bill

The best arguement for net neutrality is the monopolistic nature of the ISPs.
At this time there is not much competition, it is true. But there is a lot of potential. I am using satellite internet ISP wildblue for example.
We MAY need to regulate. But it should be as a last resort. Just look at how the regulated communication companies treated Ron Paul.
