ok... the module for that is from wicked lasers which is a place that sells lasers for an extremely high crazy price, and it's a 100mW module, which could be about $300+ the flashlight suprisingly is $100 on ebay, this is a waste of money, you could have just gone hell whith it and got a laser from wicked lasers or save a little with better quality for CNI at lower prices

@100joell Well it might be 5 mw, it might have a IR filter, You might be on low batteries. Depends pm me and tell me where you bought your laser and il help you take out the IR filter

where did you get it from? i name brand place (wicked lasers. dragon lasers,laser glow esc.)? or did you get it off amazon ebay or any other place like that? cause chances are if you did get it from one of the places where you can non name brand stuff it might not be 100mw some if not most of the "ebay" lasers and 5mw that have been modded so they can sell for more in reality they are only 100mw for like 5 minutes then they drop really fast

Actually I was sent a few free high power Lasers by the company and in return they asked me to build them a green laser. This was due to a waterproof high powered green laser which I built from a surefire body and posted on CPF a few years ago. For me it was a lot cheaper than a Monster :)

You don't. There is currently (as far as I can see) no portable laser with a green laser diode (basically they don't exist).

They use a IR diode that 'pumps' a yag crystal which lases at 1046nm then it goes into a ktp crystal which frequency doubles it to 523nms.

This is the reason greens will put out IR and

red/violet diode lasers do not.;)

actually you can see laser beam even side ways ,

most lasers with more power then 35MW can be

seen easily from any side and he's is 100MW one

5-10 MW ones are wisibel at night as well from

side , that happens cause laser reflects back from

air particles , more powerful laser easier it is

to see the beam , and 35MW one is easy to notice

so 100MW one is totally normal that you can see

go to their website, the divergence is much better on wicked lasers. They used to sell CNI model lasers like dragon lasers still does, but now they have their own model of lasers that are much more stable and durable.
