Ive been watching a bunch of videos on amount of protein someone should consume. Ive read that for the best results you should consume 1 gram of protein for 1 lb or protein from ACTUAL FOOD (excluding protein shakes) I weight 140 lbs and its actually much easier to consume this than i thought, what is your opinion on consuming 1.5 grams per 1 lbs from FOOD in addition to a protien shake???

Well from my knowledge elite bodybuilders go on stage at a different weight than what they walk around at. In order to obtain that special bone dry look I believe as much as 5% of the body's weight is reduced due to dehydration techniques.
I don't know all the ins and outs of competition, but I would imagine talking about his weight and exact measurements might be a slight disadvantage for competition.

Darren I think you are doing a great job... really inspirational. I think what you need to work on is thickness/girth. you are wide and shredded. maybe do a day where you do 10 set of 6 on the bench or something to make your traps a little thicker. once again great job

@MetalDrummer09 hes pretty low on energy given the fact that he is 4 weeks out from his comp so having a spotter there for stability really doesn't mean he needs a spotter, its precaution.
@MetalDrummer09 spotting is always needed if u want to push your strength because u could get weak at any point and if you got no one to quickly grab the weight u can injure yourself very badly. Also a spotter ensure good form. Always a good thing to have a spotter.
@tvain86 you think i dont know what i spotter does? a spotters job is to help you get the weights in starting/ending postion(if needed) and help you rep out on the last few(not every rep). if you need a spotter to help you on every rep then clearly the weight is too heavy
