I finally found Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for my pc with NO CD CRACK and thought i finally could play it on my GeForce 8400GS. I tried it and looked at a site called systemrequirementslab .c o m , in short CanYouRunIt if my PC could handle this game. It said that i can play it on minimum settings , but everytime i try to open COD4 , game is stop running. Do you know how to change settings without getting in game? Please help me
Lool, I mean its not hard to run CoD4 now a days, my 4500MHD does its fine on default settings 800x 600 (20-25FPS) and even the Core i7 920 on its own can render CoD4 on 17FPS itself without a GPU. But still the 8600M GT is good but i'm sure it'll take alot of power and produce alot of heat ;)
I got a Macbook with Opensuse 11.2 with a core 2 duo 2.26 GHz of frecuency with 2 GB DDR3 and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M with 256 MB DDR3 and it runs perfectly.
But i remember when you start the game it asks you if you want to return to the best optimised settings, and you have to click on NO. This appears when you start the game from Windows. When the spalsh screen appears.
belive it or not, not all gamers sre fat old men who sit in there moms basment. some people need portibility. like me. i have a gateway fx, i forget the model its the one from best buy and it works better thatn my 2 grand desktop. better screen, better graphics, everything.
Well you can play with everything on high by lowering the resolution even to 800x600 (but not on 7100). On 7100 it's on medium (thats how high it can get)
Yes, some are demos, some are from Steam, some are from some friends how have them original.
I don't like buying games, so i get a lot of help from my friends with the games that i borrow from them. I but only the games that i think i will play again, cause most of the games i just play them once, and get bored very easy.
I debating on whether I should get the GeForce 8600 GT or spent a little extra dollar and get the 9600 GT. I not really planning on playing anything but WoW for a while but Im just building a better computer just in case I want to get something with better graphical requirements. Ive been thinking about getting crysis though does anyone know how well this card runs it?
can i run everything on high on a 800 x 600 resolution with my pentium D dual-core 2.66 GHz on each core,2 gigs of ram and a Nvidiea Ge-Force 8400 GS with 512 MB RAM on the card
If you run the game on 800x600 you will have no problem, but if you are thinking of something like 3000x2000, you might have some lagging. So see what resolution works for you beter.
8600M is the version for laptops. That "M" is probably for MOBILE. And because it's a graphic card for laptops is much smaller than a graphics card for a desktop computer.
So you get better results on a desktop computer, using a 8600, not a 8600M (which is for laptops). Yes?
Hey, TheSmartMonk, do you think that this card coupled with a 2.16 Ghz Machine will run this at a good speed? Also do you think that it will run Mass Effect? And what resolution and frame rate are you at?
yea am 99% sure this os what i have it came with the computer when i got it i want to install a really gud one on there so i can play oblivion and bioshock if u could tell me what i need i would really appreciate it thanks alot.
Hello the smart monk great video!, I was wondering if you think that my Acer Aspire 6920-6610 w/ Core 2 Duo T5550, 4GB, 320GB, DVD+/-RW, 16in WXGA, Geforce 8600M GT, Vista Home Premium could run cod 4 ?
But how can you add the video i use fraps to film gta sa on highest and the graphics are not as good as this is and it comes to like..16 gb....how do you compress it?
Well it's a normal thing. You get 6GB+ for 5 minutes of recording. You have a option in FRAPS to record at 'HALF-SIZE' and the resolution will be devided by two. And you will get 5 minutes of recording into ~1GB. Than run Windows Movie Maker and convert the recording into *.wmv and you have a option for how much MB the final recording will have.
Why have you bought a 8600 GT??? Your pc won't get all the power out of the videocard... I have an AMD Sempron 3000+ 2.06 GHZ, 512MB RAM... and i got a 7600 GS.. i think even my pc wont get all of the power out of my card... If you really want a 8600 GT.. buy a new dual core computer with like 2.5+ GHZ... Then you got all the power! :) Besides... now those computers are like 600 Euro's ... (in europe :P) I bought my AMD in 2002... back then this one was 700 Euro's ...
im getting a new laptop soon but cant deside one the xps and the inspiron, the only diference is xps has 15 inch screen and the inspiron has 17 inch, and the xps has geforce 8600m gt (ddr3) and the inspiron the 8600m gt (ddr2) is there a big diference in the 2 cards that is worf the extra 50pounds?
What i'm hearing now, it's that Dell is not going to put GeForce 8600M GT on some new laptops. That's bad news.
I've played Assassins Creed at all high details, and it runs good. Good, not mega-ultra-hardcore good. Just good. It has some lagging in open spaces. But if you play it medium it will work perffect. But other things that have impact on playing, is the RAM and porcessor. So watch out for what you buy. Get 2GBRAM+ and 2GHz+ (dual). This graphic card. PM me if problems.
i run 11xx X 7xx (a 16:9 res,i forgot the exact thing:P) all high except shadows on medium, runs pretty smooth u get 25-40 fps in cities and 20-30 in open areas, i havent oc'ed my gpu
does anyone else hear sudden stops in the sound in the start. I don't think its my audio(sound blaster FX*Best Audio out there*)also how much shared memory do you get on your because I have the same graphics card and I have 1022 shared.
i might be getting a dell xps m1530, it is the best gaming notebook i can find that is cheap, it has a 8600 in it, and it is only 1000 dollars, and i get a discount for 200, so its sweet! but ty for the vid i get a taste of wat it will be like
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
i got 8800 ultra in sli, motherboard ga-m57sli s4 , 6400+ x2 dual core black edition ( oc 3.5 "GHz"(that's nothing)...THIS DUAL CORE OWNS YOUR single core(3.0 "MHz" core lol =)) ) and many others in gaming and is proven >:)...i know that you wanted to say 3 GHz..just joking :*
