@l19kiki if u watched the show then you would understand. He did tell the doctors that but the doctors kept telling him to get his leg amputated so he brought them down so he would show them that he can't dance without it. he probably put on music and after his dance the doctors realized that they had to find another way so that he can keep his leg and they did.

The dancer is Nathan Halliday. He guest starred on Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case, and CSI as well. He also starred in a movie called Desert Son. He's brilliant :D and I'm sure that is way more then you wanted to know.
Thanks for the info PantsRocket. I like Josh Radin's waspy voice. I don't have any personal knowledge of whether he is an asshole or not but I enjoyed his version of the song and thought it went well with the scene.
