Jrock's the better of these 2, but both are entertaining. Back in1984 you had to know someone to learn, but now anyone with money can become a master, lol. The best I ever saw was fromback then. Michael Kane from Senn high school, but he did the tick, and made it 3-D. We didn't have money for video cameras or anything back then. The best popper was Chui Alfaro from Gordon Tech.  Hutch and Daddy-O from Jesse White's dance and tumbling team had 3-D animation made of small ticks.

he was just throwing stuff together in some random order (especially when he was locking)

as where j-rock meshed his combos with transition moves that worked beautifully

I don't get what Mike Watson's deal is. He's excellent at what he does but I watched half a dozen vids of his and he does the EXACT SAME THING in all of them. He's like Rob Muraine... My feelings are--if you're THAT good at dancing showcase, learn to freestyle and feel the beat. Learn some more dance styles, educate yourself. How do you get THAT good at dancing when you can only do one thing? JRock got robbed. Blows my mind... Hey I'm a noob though, I know nothing ;-)

It was a different style, mostly a created variation of the many different forms and styles of popping a form of creative animation.
