I was having problems getting Odin to see my phone on download mode. it saw it regulary but not on download. I tried reinstalling drivers and i kept getting a fail. finally I ran out to my local electronics store and picked up a belkin cable. when i came home and plugged it in and the drivers installed on the first try. That fixed my problem. Odin worked perfectly. Thanx for the video. PS stock cables suck.

hey qbking, do you have the full 2.3.5 to use with odin? i got 2.3.4 and tried to downgrade so i could install 2.3.5 via SD however it didn't work because the rom i got wan't STOCK .. and i couldnt find no STOCK ROM to flash with odin. any help will be aprecciated, thanks

@Mydtys No, there's no 2.3.5 tar yet sadly... You'll have to odin to 2.2 and upgrade to 2.3.5 to stay complete stock

so my issue is not with the cable i dont think, my computer is just telling me that i dont have the drivers for my phone. so neither the computer nor odin are seeing my phone when i plug it in... im not very tech savvy at all so is there some driver that i need to download so my computer can recognize my phone while its in download mode?

I have done all of the steps, but I can't get my computer or Odin to "see" my phone when I plug it in while in download mode. It works when my phone is on the normal screen, but once I put it in download mode, my cpu says it can't find the right drivers and doesn't know what my phone is. Any help? Edit: So i took out the sd card, changed the usb cord and used a different USB port [it went from com3 to com4? no idea, but anyways, i downloaded WINRAR instead of WINZIP , and noticed that the md5 file ended with .rar so i unzipped that too and used the file that was in it. Now it worked and my phone just booted. <3 qbking

Why my phone is now rooted!? I updated to EH17 in my unrooted phone and when I run the Root Check app it shows the message "Congratulation! You have root access!"

@PreApproved1 Flashing the stock tar shouldn't give you root lol. The only way you can check is install superuser and try and run an app that requires root access.

Did the update to EH17 and it worked smoothly. However, now the market won't let me install theMarket America ma mobile app that I use with my business. I am getting this message "This app is incompatible with your Sprint Samsung SPH-D700." Any suggestions on what I can do to get this to install? And if so, how do I do so. Thanks in advance

@driftman450sx When you look for the tar file, it says 7z at the end... look in the folder.. you will need to extract that zip as well. The tar file is inside that zip.

Took me 4 different cords, 1 BB cord and 3 diff Samsung cords and 5 diff drivers but the 1 Samsung cord, Windows installed the driver on my big computer for me in 10 seconds and got done in 2:43. Thanks for uploading the video, i just did eh06 though, but at least i have a driver and cord that works finally, so far so good, thanks again king77

I used clockwork to wipe reset, cache and dalvik 3 times but phone still boots to Epicurean Scrambled egss eg22. Can I still flash EH17 over it?

One thing that I have noticed with the EH17 .rar is that when extracted with 7zip it makes the file .tar.md5.7z

I deleted the .7z and doesnt work but it doesnt work with it on it either...
