Who he's really xenophobic. Even illegal immigrants pay their pay roll taxes. They make America strong. This old line about them "taking jobs" and "using public services" is so old and it's not even based on the facts. It just appeals to peoples' fear. I'm so tired of all of this fear in politics. March 8th 2008 special election- This will be the 4th Oberweis campaign for public office. He has been rejected by Illinois voters 3 times in his previous campaigns.
He has been referred to as the "pit-bull' - due to his attacking negative campaigning style. The pit bull comparison is unfortunate. A pit bull can be a loving family companion. Diary company owner Oberweis is also known as the Milk Dud - that may be more appropriate reference.

Oberweis lost the March 08 special election.
