At stock speed they make a little less noise and move a little more fair. They have a switch that lets you put them in 12v mode which makes a little bit of a racket. But keeps everything really cool.

I had one of these, i wouldnt recoomend them, they are very very loud plus there life span is very short, i had both the gpu and cpu cooler and the back xcm fan with the lcd display. The other while playing COD6 my xbox kept turning off, when i opened it up the gpu fan had completely stopped spinning and was very hard to push round with my finger and the cpu side of the back fan had done exactly the same. They are all in the bin now and im back on stock cooling, complete waste of money

yea what i did was it red ringed then i replaced the thermal paste on the chips then put the fans in, and now it just keeps on breaking every 2 hrs. So know i just overheat when it breaks so it works again

this fan has the turbo thing, its loud if you use the turbo, if you want quiter just get the normal Whisper max fan that dont have a turbo.

yeah, u can still use the whispermax turbo as normal, you just need to press the button on the fan to change it back to 5v.

i put this fan in my xbox also. he just has rrod because the video cables arent hooked up this happened with mine as well then i hooked up those cables its fine. i had E74 error then looked online how to fix it. it worked and i installed this fan while my xbox was apart

u dont have to cut any wires, the back two fans go where the old stock fans were, and the middle fan just sits down in a little opening, no cutting of wires, just gota open the xbox and put it in.

honestly the max fans can fuck up your whole system. they say it has anti ring of death protecion. but you can still get the 3 red lights from the max fans. you can even get the rrod faster if it's not on nitro as well the heat sinks that come with a cheap fan mod are a joke, so are the fans as well. unless you have sencers installed you won't know your current temps of your cpu and gpu.

newer 360 dont have as big of a problem with rrod, but probably not, it works better than the normal fans without the nitro switch, so wit tha nitro it would keep it cooler

the nitro switch is for when your 360 gets hot, when playiing it 4 long time periods, with my 360 i have the normal fans, and it doesnt get that hot, these fans move allot more air, so it shouldnt get as hot as a normal 360, you dont need to have nitro on all the tme.

it is a good idea. but the gpu cooling fan is to much because u already have the whisper max which draws enough power as is. and that gpu fan is taking even more power from your xbox which can be detromental. but i think think the whisper max fans would do there job just by them self. shit if nothing happens more power to ya. but in the long run i think your system might fail. or your drive atleast
