KHusro was not inspired by anything...Whatever he wrote it was all for his peer.. NIzamudin ...as you can hear Nizamudin name in many many of his poem..

yes i think so but it was performed by Aziz Mian "Bahut Kathin hai dagar panghat ki,

Kaise main bhar laun madhva se matki

Khawaja Nijamudin Laj rakho more ghoonghat pat ki."

is taken from the Aziz Mian Vol.1 labelled by EMI it is a 60 min Recording.
