This isn't fake btw. Its a hardware change not software.

I did this on my MacBook a while ago. Works great. Its the trackpad from the early MacBook pro with a button. The later non button trackpads dont work. Its pretty involved as the whole topcase has to separated and the touchpad has to be properly mounted.

è un fake, ha solo cambiato la tastiera e il case esterno, guardate, il trackpad è color alluminio! e il bordino dello schermo è nero.

diceva che avrebbe pubblicato un video e non l'ha fatto, inoltre in preferenze trackpad, non compare il video del multitouch se non viene rilevato l'hardware giusto,quindi almeno che non abbia montato il trackpad del pro sul mb, questo è un fake, in ogni caso non si puo abilitare, sul normale trackpad del white

It would be nice if there was actually useful information in the video. There's no description anywhere as to which macbook this is specifically (whether it's a macbook pro, or the old 2008 model). Please, provide more than just a demonstration of your ability to rotate a picture. Thank you.

snow leopard now brings 3 and 4 finger gestures to older multi-touch trackpads so this is perfectly possibe. Forums suggest that its only for 1st gen macbook air and last macbook pros but i do hope it works on the white macbook 2008 model

dude you just combined a aluminum mac that has a multitouch trackpad with the white macbook cause my white macbook is not that silver and the way the lighting is it is definetly silver nice job though

wtf no he didnt look at the trackpad it has buttons the aluminum macbook pros have no buttons the whole trackpad is the button so haha and the new macbooks have multituch one button trackpads lol

the multi-touch gesture support is software and should work regardless of the trackpad. but by the looks of this it is fake considering it doesn't show any of the features from the mac demos at the press conferences

it must be a macbook air or unibody macbook trackpad

No those track pads are a different size. The white macbook has a multitouch track, even most PC's do, the software is just enabled to allow them to work. There are hacks to enable them.

How do you do that? Do you need a new trackpad or do you just need Mac OS 10.5.6? It doesn't work on my Macbook White Mid 2007.

multi touch touchpad have the genaretion before Unibody aluminium macbook !!!! it is generation with x3100 video then whit x3100 and multi touchpad , then the unibody aluminium macbook ...ask in the store whitchmodel do you own ...
