I was 9 years old when I saw this ad on tv. I begged and begged my grandma to get it for me...I've still got all 16 volumes in their gift boxes today. I still don't know why, but for some reason they sent us volumes 1-8 in the gift box plus the Christmas special at the same time, and then the following month sent volumes 9-16 in their gift box with a second copy of the Christmas special. Oh well, I wasn't complaining. :D
That clip at 1:48 is from the "Beauty Makeover" episode, which was not part of this collection.
Of the shows' 45 episodes, only 32 (7 from season 1, 9 from season 2, both season 3 episodes, 8 from season 4, and 6 from season 5) were released on this collection.
The other 6 episodes from season 1 were released by Hi-Tops Video (The last 5 season 1 episodes were released on the "Festival of Fun" tape), so therefore, before the DVDs were released, 38 of the 45 episodes had been released on video.
