@dunnyb41 Thank you. I have a different perspective on highlight videos now and would not have included any music if I made the video today, but thanks for the compliments nonetheless.
Sweet steve breaston video I can't believe dickrod is ruining yalls memories up at michigan I know dan u don't like him dude lol but I don't blame him for taking the job the athletic director knew he would bring the spread offense to michigan and to be fair it takes about 3 years atleast to go from michigans traditonal big 10 offense to dickrods spread
Dude, Breaston was a 5th round draft pick. he was a late round STEAL. Its so exciting to see him tearing it up in Arizona. I just wish he was as good of a receiver when he was at Michigan as he is now with Arizona.
Cards the the best offense of all tie this year. Fitzgerald who is a mix between Michael Jordan and Jerry Rice- Aquan Bolden who IS THE IRON MAN- Kurt Warner the savant passer- Breaston lightning- finally a Edge James that is on- and Timmy Hightower who has incredible outside speed.- Not to mention a killer offensive line. They may win the Super Bowl- They proved themselves this year.
We had Edwards, Avant, and Breaston together for 2 seasons (2003 and 2004). lets review how those seasons went:
2003: this was easily our ebst season since the 97 NC with the exception of 1999. Michigan was an absolute jauggernaut in 2003. Our losses came against a 4-0 oregon team on the road, an Iowa team that finished 8th in the nation at 10-2, and the national champion USC Trojans in the Rose Bowl. So yeah, we pretty much were unstoppable in 2003.
2004: this was one of the best offense Michigan had since Fielding Yosts points a minute teams, and it was definitely the best offense we've had since 1997. Henne, Hart, Edwards, Avant, Breaston, Massqquoi, Ecker, Stenevich, Baas, Lentz, Long...that offense was unstoppable. And we went 9-3 and finished 14th in the nation. problem was, our defense was garbage that season. If we had a defense, we win the NC that season. but 2004 was still a really good season
man the funny thing is when i watched film of him in college he kinda sucked he couldnt catch with his hands, he went in the 4th or 5th round and now he can catch and is becoming a possible star nfl player
Stevie B is a killer. Played little league with him (K of C NBBL) and now I'm drafting him in a fantasy football. Get me some touchdowns Breaston! Kurt knows the deal. :D
yeah he is and it seems like when they do these screens it takes them so long to develop. They are very slow with it at times. But hey its a learning process. can't wait to see how good they will be when they finally get it.
I forgot to mention: ypu're so right about Breaston. He's playing like a Pro Bowler with the Cardinals. the last two games, he's had 17 catches for 201 yards, not to mention he's been a game breaking returner. Breaston is so frickin sweet. Its too bad he was a boarderline bust of a receiver at Michigan. ):
As for odoms, I'm not too confident in small guys like him. I just really think you need size and brawn (in addition to speed and athleticim) in roder to be a successful CF player
And like, until the last game, Odoms has been playing like shit. Same goes for otehr true freshmen sticks like Michael Shaw and Darryl Stonum. I'm not confident at all that Michigan can win with small, skeletal skill position players, but I hope to hell that I'm wrong.
thats one issue i have with rr. he likes these small fast players cause they fit the spread the best. I love michigan and always will and i will support them no matter what but the spread was the wrong thing to bring to michigan. Though they do play toledo next and that should help them work kinks. after that they should be good or i hope and a january bowl game is still in reach. and if you could answer where the hell is stonum? he has made like one catch this year.
Stonum was the starter at outside receiver opposite Greg Mathews in the first 4 games, and he had a paultry 5 catches for 48 yards, along with numerous dropped and misjudged passes. But he was suspended in the alst game for breaking "team rules." LaTerryal Savoy started at outside receiver opposite Mathews the last game. Stonum's status for tommorow is unknown
Stonum never should ahve been starting at outside receiver in the first place. Junior Hemingway should have been starting, and even now that Hemingway is out for the season with mononucleosus, I think Toney Clemons should be starting at outside receiver. Oh, and James Rogers should be starting in the slot over Martavious Odoms
Yes, he can. You can play any of your players at any time. RR can burn the redshirt of any player that he wants. But DickRod is too much of a dick to burn Feagins redshirt. This has been the worst coaching hire of the last 50 years. RR is pathetic, as is his entire staff.
@flugplatz21 Feagin had talent. Its too bad he blew it for himself before he got a chance to show it. Obviously we don't want a drug dealer on our team. Feagin hasn't done anything at Texas State either, which indicates his mind is not on the game of football. How very unfortunate.
@Poole1Dan Yeah. Speaking of hindsight, I was hopeful for the RR era, but now we know. It is very sad that some kids either have no clue, or no guidance to provide a clue. Pryor just threw away untold cash for 20-40K and some tats. That's a kid being a kid, but with no concept of the bigger picture. I almost feel for him, but, you know, he went there....
@flugplatz21 Pryor was a fuck head from the get-go. I wanted him cause he was the No.1 recruit and all, but his productivity isn't worth the baggage he carries. Besides, its not like we've missed Pryor at QB the last two seasons. Denard is an erratic passer but an electrifying runner, while Tate struggled at times but was on the whole solid.
Great video, good music too. It's not obnoxiously loud or just stupidly not fitting

oh man, 2003 had Chris Perry, and Chris Perry was a stud. That was the last year Michigan beat Ohio State.
