Queen the band always welcomed different versions of their songs and loved to hear others play them. I personally do not like this version, but I am pretty picky about it. I can only assume that the band thought she was great and has a great time playing it and having it NOT sound like Freddie. Freddie is irreplacable. They accept that.

Her voice is good enough (though I felt there were too many female voices and so they over balanced the normal depth of the song's range... even a male tenor or contralto is much deeper than the average woman's voice, at least to me).

Her performance I'm sure bothered some simply because 1) she wasn't Freddy (and therefore how dare she act like she's special the way he did) and 2) she's not super-skinny model material. I'd LOVE to have her dress though.
