my own personal opinion is that war would be more fun if there were more people playing it. it would lead to more pvp. WoW has nice pve and has a massive community which draws more people to it. however, i feel that cataclysm is the beginning of a downward slope which will lead to a dent in subscriptions, my proof being my realm was overpopulated until cata hit. and i quit WoW today because its become..dare i say it...dull

The problem with WAR three months after release, was that they released an incomplete game (Lacking the Choppa and Slayer, I don't remember if the Empire and Dark Elf Tank class were in yet, only two of the capitals they had planned) and it relied very heavily on a large number of players to make Public Quests efficient. It also shifted painfully from levellng in one racial pairing to needing to quest in all three, when the story of the others had been improperly introduced.

WoW is getting dumb now. played at 60-80 then quit cause it jus started to get to noob friendly and easy. if i wanted to entertain myself with something easy i'd take a magnifying glass to an ant hill. Plus 85 is gonna be more like private servers then ever. watch a beta on cat 85 in blue pvp gear with 100k health... ill pass. warhammer does look like it should be fun.
Tried trial today and I must say, that it looks like an enjoyable game. However, I do not want to spend money on 2 MMORPG´s, so maybe in future, when I quit WoW, I might consider starting to play this one. No way I´m going to touch Age of Conan, not my stuff :)
Wow graphics I MUST say look cartoonish, I really cant make much of an opinion though which is better I only played WAR to level 10, I rather prefer WoW though. But saying "STFU wowlovers" can be said to the normal child WoW players saying "OMG!!! WAR SUX BALLLLZ! FAIL!!!! WOW IS SOOOOO AWESOME" but to WoW players with logic, we could care less...
WAR PvP was excellent, but really, this Beta stuff is null considering there's a gap of several years. I would expect a modern game to make a game 3-4 years old look outdated, and WoW is actually veering away from the cartooney image with new armour skins and textures, just one look at Cataclysm screenshots and things like the Goblin faces (drug-taking alcoholics!) it's hard to say WoW is still for kids and/or childish.

The PvE aspects of WAR are pretty fun, but RvR (or pvp) is just fucking mind blowing...you can't judge the game from the trial and this is coming from a hardcore PvPer back in the day of WoW...WAR is a much better game when it comes to PvP
If we're talking about history Warhammer has you beat... also it's more established, and while the areas you go to are small, the point is that you're at war, and also if you guys have so much space... it gets kinda lonely going around, I mean look at shattrah... alot of potential and nobody's there to use it.

I never played War that much. I used to play Wow alot, its been1 and a half years and I'm getting sick of it. Lich King is dead...nothing is left worth my interest now.

First of all: Warhammer is 27 years old (this year) and long had it in their plans not to release any computer games as it was intended to be a tabletop game only. Blizzard made a game which they wanted to be a warhammer game but Games workshop refused it so they had to change it in many ways, basically the whole universe, thus becomming Warcraft.

Before you throw any form of accusation around, you need to understand what defines a fantasy mythos and setting, what similarities there will be no matter what brand of fantasy you subscribe too. The PvE aspects of WAR are pretty fun, but RvR (or pvp) is just fucking mind blowing...you can't judge the game from the trial and this is coming from a hardcore PvPer back in the day of WoW...WAR is a much better game when it comes to PvP

If we're talking about history Warhammer has you beat... also it's more established, and while the areas you go to are small, the point is that you're at war, and also if you guys have so much space... it gets kinda lonely going around, I mean look at shattrah... alot of potential and nobody's there to use it.
