He was supposed to be a figure of good ol' Kal'Buir(Kal Skirata),but when Karen Traviss saw the headsculpt she tought it looked too young so she decided to ask Hasbro to change the name and make him a character she was wanting to debut in an upcoming book.

the colours on this figure are cool. they kind of look like the colours on kal skirata, so he may have been the inspiration for this guy
