I agree that it's kind of early to tell, but still it's a team in general, and we are also talking about over the past few years. I was just saying from what I've seen Bruins do a lot better over Habs when they play each other, especially lately. Overall though is what matters.

I know it's still the beginning yeah but it's still a small reflection of what teams will play like for the whole season, but things can change.
I am sure they will make the playoffs if they play Thomas in goal which I don't know why they wouldn't..
Anyways we will see, and a Hab/Bruins rematch would be great :D

which brings me to a point, Bruins can do JUST as good as well. Also Bruins didn't even LOSE 5 in a row, or 4 in a row etc.
If anything like I said they beat Montreal in the playoffs 4-0 so yeah....

Habs won against bruins in the 2008 playoffs and lost second round.
Bruins won against habs in the 2009 playoffs and lost second round
Which brings us in a tie for the last 2 years.
And also, the montreal team changed so much from 2009 and 2010 that it is too early to say if it will be a good or bad team. Yeah habs didn't have the best beginning ever, but they don't know eachother so well compared to last year. So I won't tell anything now because teams changed a lot.

I agree that it's kind of early to tell, but still it's a team in general, and we are also talking about over the past few years. I was just saying from what I've seen Bruins do a lot better over Habs when they play each other, especially lately. Overall though is what matters.

I personnally don't mind in how many games they won or not though =) I think that the longer it lasts, the better it is.
Oh and also, I have to admit that last year, Boston was better than Montreal. It all changed from 2008 to 2009. If I remember correctly, in 2008 Montreal won all matches against bruins during the season, and in 2009 it was the complete opposite. So we can't really tell :P

True but after awhile it has to matter how many games won because than overall it isn't a great team.
Yeah there will also be some back and forth's which is what makes it interesting, and Montreal961 couldn't seem to realize that.
Also I like the rivalry as well and can't WAIT until thursday to see the game as well :)

And one last time, it is too early to say if it is a great team or not, even if earlier seasons they didn't do too good (except for 2007-2008)
As of an example, Hurricanes won the stanley cup in 2006 and didn't even make to the playoffs in 2004.
I'm not saying that habs will win the cup this year. Maybe, maybe not, but I do think that we'll have a lot of surprise this year =D

Still if it is an early in a season you can still say if a team is doing bad or good for the games they have played.
Also it matters overall like I said, not just certain time periods here or there. I know some people will say win the stanley cup some years, then do horrible another, again why I said it matters overall.
Also I'm not saying Bruins will win the cup this year either, Bruins aren't even my favorite team, I'm a sens fan and I'm not even saying they will win the stanley cup either

As I said, they don't know eachother enough yet. You can see on the first games they didn't really cooperate, but lately they made great plays. Especially in OT
