At the beginning, Jim was the only witness to see who had saved Prince Eric, and so Eric sends Jim out to retrieve the mystery girl(Ariel). The fanficton based on this video pretty much explains that part, I suggest you read it :)

I love you story line, I love the plot, I love the forced imagery, I love the coupling. I love this movie even thought it has a dad ending. I would love to see you make another video like this one, same coupling similar imagery, but with a bit of a happier ending? I love Jim and Ariel together

Ariel was married to a prince that would go far as to kill the man she love if he didn't marry him.

If Jim and Ariel try to runaway she would still be married to him, and Eric would hunt them down. They'll be force to live in hiding. And if they're fond, he'll have them both killed.

Jim's suicide was justicly the only way to free Ariel from Eric's control.

Well, thank you very much, I appreciate your compliment, but I'm not really one to favor a "happy ending" with Jim & Ariel because there are SO MANY of those videos, and its hard for me to even stand out when dealing with this couple. As for a similar video, I doubt it'll end happy anyway because I seriously couldn't see a happy ending for them in this situation (much like what Hwoarang8ify said).

I am a bit confused with the ending. It looks amazing though! ; _ ; and Jim is suffering so much! Gah!! Crushes my Soul I tell ya! X_X;;; I got a bit confused when Ariel and Eric were on the boat, then when he attacked Jim. And at the ending when Ariel was in the room. DID HE COMMIT SUICIDE?! >_< Please tell me it isn't so!

The boat scene tells about Ariel's reason for not running away with Jim that one night (Flashback) Eric threatens Jim's life if Ariel refuses to marry him (which shows the black n' white scene about Eric attacking Jim), and so Ariel marries Eric to save Jim's life. After Jim hears about this, he decides to sacrifice his life for her freedom. Ariel's actions at the end is open to interpretation; its completely up to the viewer :)

Omg! X_X That makes more sense! She did it all for him...my goodness. Jim overheard her confessions in the room when he was planning on killing her and saw the truth so he killed himself so she can be free. She mourned at his funeral and to escape Eric's clutches she dived into the water to return back home to escape Eric. Also sucks to leave your child behind :'( darn...So tragic but I love it so much! Thank you! ^^ HUG!
