I have listened to rock & roll since the 70's...Floyd, Zep, The Doors, early Steely Dan, etc. And MM is up in that group of all-time favorite bands. Yeah and I am into Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Nebula and the Atomic Bitchwax in terms of more recent/still active bands.

I really REALLY dig the remake/ reprise- type version of this song on the Monolithic Baby disc. Am I the only one that noticed it's there? Cause like... nobody ever comments about it....anyways, BOTH versions kick ass, and Monster Magnet are one of the best bands ever!!!

I like the remake on Monolithic. It is a bit more, for the lack of a better word, somber. But VERY good nonetheless. If I had to chose one of the two I think I like the original a little more.

And, yeah, Monster Magnet is near the top of my list...which is a VERY long.

Listen to Spine of God. Their first album sounds a bit like Kyuss. The first track sounds almost exactly like Kyuss. I put it on for a friend and he thought it was Kyuss. Spine of God...check it out. It's the shit. Some hardcore guys say the only good MM albums are Spine of God and Superjudge. Their first two. I disagree.

Sorry for bothering you with this but, there was a Powertrip's (Monster Magnet) live video in here, some moths ago, and I was wondering if you might upload it, (just in case you have it). The only things I remember about it is that they where playing for some TV show, and the video is pretty old, probably from the very same year they released Powertrip (1998). I've already tried on google but, there's no successful results for this one.

I'll be also grateful for any info about it.

I prefer the original version myself. But the version on Monolithic was good too...just a little more, looking for the right word, somber maybe. I think what the song meant to him evolved for Dave just as his music has.
