if dumbledore hadnt asked snape to protect harry would you think he would av done cos hes lillys son or would he have seen james in him and hated him???
@melane654 I don't think he could ever really get over the fact that Harry was Jame's. Especially, since Harry look so much like him, even with Lily's eyes. He might have to try to make up for his part in Lily's death but his hatred for James could possiblely match his guilt.
I think yes. However, Harry also did alot to annoy Snape so maybe lacking full commitment to helping Harry and wouldn't have as much.
