Ebay: Greedy robbing GITS!

I hate advertising for its objective self, but some are more instillations of art by creative artists. Take the Guiness ads for example. It didn't sap my creativity watching that but inspired it. And it didn't make me want to buy or drink Guiness.

the scary thing is, you'll have seen derren brown i suppose bending peoples subconcious choice making by placing things like billboard ads etc for his subject to notice without noticing - think how much of that crap gets inflicted upon us every day on the web - its hardly surfing the web, now its sifting the crap :-P

That's not going though, Ebay used to be good, now it is slow and full of buttons that never work - their software is seriously flawed, and it has been like this for weeks.

I was trying to sell something the other week, and for a whole day the pages weren't loading at all, so I missed out on viewers, but I still got charged double because the buyer never contacted me, and new rules state that if the buyer doesn't make contact - tough - you lose money

Well, if you study the deal, you can profit, but pay pal and ebay are going to get their slice anyway. It's no good to play without really researching. So, you can find bargains at auction (which is no good for the seller, and they will probably put a nose goblin in the shipping carton, or worse, hold it between their buttocks before placing in the box). So, here we have a Craig's list (local stuff) go get it, instead of all the shipping complications...and radio swap shop (free service).

Youre hardly alone. ebay broke their site and blamed the users. Go look it on slashdot. The site is a joke with bloated code.

They even put adult ads an on live listings in children's and Christian categories. Got caught in another couple big lies surrounding the search and browse fail just the last few days. There was no surge in listings. Look at the medved chart. They have lost their freakin minds!

Just go elsewhere.

I bought something off ebay a few months ago. The stupid bastard sent me the wrong thing and sent my item to Italy. Finally today he sent me a message telling me he's finally got it back and is sending it to me now. Apart from that, Ebay is cool. I am blind to adverts, I don't let them bother me.

i hate outbidding bastards... i got outbid by £2 on a bloody expensive bike that was going for £100 :( adverts are even going on youtube when people become "partners" with the youtube... adverts suck, we shouldnt even have to pay a tv license tbh. the government should let us watch tv for free to keep us entertained and to stop us from going apeshit on each other

I got turned down for partnership on the other channel, it may have something to do with me not looking into AdSense first. Or it could be that my channel was good or even crap enough
