  • In general not bad post, but I agree with jmbchiro. I learned spine aliment as a physio and exercise - movement teacher 25 years ago- its nothing new. Also she doesnt mention that you can not keep an alinement when you have a misalignment due to adhesion ect in organs or blocked vertebrae. Its impossible to stay up ride if such problem are present. • @123osteo

use the following easily obtainable Home devices for proper decompression and Natural biological Human alignment

Nubax, spine worx , Inversion table , Back 2 life, New back , Body bridge

  • Technically well-done & visually pleasing. Ms. Porter's theory is similar to current concepts in certain physical rehabilitation circles, e.g., "Prague School." See International Society of Clinical Rehabilitation Specialists site. I would like to see evidence for her claims about spine health in underdeveloped countries. The x-ray, purportedly of an infant, is actually a mature adult's. The spine is not self-supporting. It would collapse without muscular support. (Posted by a D.C.)

  • @jmbchiro

are you a chiro QUACK tor ? practicing whats known as Chiro QUACKERY ?

  • I agree with tubesafta below... I have improved my back pain alot since studying with Ms Porter and continue to refine the method on a daily basis. Certainly it would have been better to have learned this earlier in my "exercised" life, but I HAVE avoided having surgery because of having a new way to park my pelvis! I am forever indebted to Kathleen for the patience and skill that she brings to her passionate teaching of a subject much neglected.Mia

  • Brilliant! This is a great visual condensation of Kathleen Porter's book, "Ageless Spine," which proved to be the keystone that helped me change my posture and virtually eliminate back and neck pain. There is something about the way Porter explains things that make all the proper alignment techniques clear. Thank you, Kathleen, for your continued work in helping us all live (and look) better.
