I love this song ^^.

but I think it's about how the girl got mad fun of for wearing glasses and not liking what everyone else liked, so she took of the glasses and started lieing about herself, but everyone else finds out she's lieing and they don't hang out with her anymore, hence all the empty chairs. And the cat symbolises the truth, so she ignores it at first and starts lieing again. At the end when she turns into a cat it shows that she started telling the truth again.

I think that this is her journey through self-discovery and how she doesn't really know who she is a person. She mixes in with bad people, so she automatically thinks she's a bad person. The love she speaks of is her addiction to drugs. She decides that she is no different than the cat, never knowing anything about itself. Running around quiet and useless. A subdued existence. In the end she realizes it doesn't matter who she is. She was always herself, she just didn't realize it...

The song's meaning is hard to determine from the very repetitive lyrics, but it can be assumed from the PV that Luka is under peer pressure from her fellow school mates, which forces her to mold into whatever they want her to be. Supposedly, she had a ex-boyrfriend that used to understnd her for herslf, but after that she was left with a broken heart and no one to understand her. As it progresses, Luka dreams that she grows cat ears and a tail, showing that she wishes to be a cat.

i think that scence Luka is a program she cant be a "girl" or "boy", she cant hav a "mother" cause programs cant be born and shes "mad" because she cant hav these things like people. the "show" is her singing, and getting "high" is her trying to do human things. the cat thing, is when she finds a better place in the computer to live so she doesnt wanna go back. and commiting a crime is deleting her(she doesnt wanna go back to her programer). thats just my interpatation.

It took me some thinking to figure out what this song is about. I've concluded that she is singing this about a drug. I also think this is sung while she's high and she likes the sensation of being touble free so doesn't want to give up the drug.

To anyone wondering about the meaning... this is my interpretation: A young girl looses her way in society and finds the wrong crowd. She begins doing drugs and sells her body for money to support her habit. She begins to forget simple facts about herself, like her gender and identity. She compares herself to a stray cat on the street, deciding it must not know these things either. (how old it is, who its mother was, what gender it is)

@Temayuka Why gender?Thats a good question. I think the reason gender is mentioned is because thats one of our easiest identifiers about ourselves, whether we are male or female. In this case, its used to show that Luka doesn't even know the simplest facts about who she is.

There are lots of omissions in Japanese in particular, so even though a word might be interpreted in English, the word wasn't in the sentence in Japanese.
