this ride... oh my gosh. this was my absolute favorite ever. I was 5 when i went to disney. We were there two days and I rode this like 10 times in the course of two days. I remember at night in line i would be scared of the matter horn which was right behind it.
@TheSoundtrackOfGaGa It might not make sense even after watching the movie. ( If it can be called a movie, it's only 34 minutes long, originally released as half of a 68 minute film.)
@143AC It is at Disneyland and it isn't going anywhere. This is Fantasyland's best darkride in my opinion. If you ride this first and then ride Indiana Jones, you gain a real understanding of just how far Disney Imagineering has come since on a very meta level....they are both very close in terms of type of ride. (Being on an out of control car that goes from dangerous experience too the next.)
@143AC it won't shut down...it's one of the rides walt personally designed and one of the few that opened on opening day. They don't shut down rides walt personally touched...even if they become unpopular
@small5th this is PROBABLY true.... Walt INVISIONED it, so...its somehing HE thought about so its HIS touch to CBJ. AFTER Walt passed away, Mark Davis said it was WALT'S LAST LAUGH.
When this ride was at WDW, instead of the Winnie the Pooh ride, my grandpa was an addict! I swear it was one of the only reasons he got his butt on the train to go to Florida! But they closed it, and now he won't go to WDW again!
Thanks for uploading this, because I don't remember this ride, and even though this is the one at DL, I still am glad I have an idea of what the one at WDW was like!
The big sign at the flashing. I don't know what it said but in the related videos a video had an icon if the sign. Still don't know what it said. And also I saw on a website someone was recreating the ride.
What's with that anyways? Since the video is dark, I can't tell what the real ride is like, because I haven't found the ride. In fact, I thought it was closed.
