  • A beautiful transcription, beautifully played. Thank you.

  • @SausageDoc Thank you!

  • This is the Gavotte and Minuetto Dolce from Boyce's Twelfth Trio Sonata. The Twelve Trio Sonatas were published in 1747 for two voilins, cello and continuo, and were probably the most popular English musical publication of the 18th Century. I would love a copy of that transcription if there is any way I can get it from you, or if you know somewhere I can get it.

  • Thank you for that most useful information, which I will add to the description. I will send you a message re the score.

  • This is a delightful song. Great playing.

  • Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • A delightful Gavotte which still has good milage in it for some of the BBC drama plays. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Jannarta.

  • Lovely, thanks again!

  • That's a pleasure!

  • The info. was really interesting. Lovely piece played with great consideration to all its components: the Baroque-style, the media (modern heavy grand-piano), the obscure transcription, your own playing-style and nationality. Bravo - you've managed to do it successfully!

  • Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed this rather old-fashioned transcription!

  • Beautifully played!

  • Thank you!
