YM was actually filmed with audience in the studio, If you watch the episodes carefully, you can see the actors occasionally waiting for the particularly loud laughter to die down a little before they continue.
I agree with you, 'Sonya...43.' You make me think ...
In the alternative, not 'breaking it up a little' with the canned laughter, considering not a live show, can wind up nearly too 'droll,' or 'dry,' cuz that th'nature 2-th'Brit humour.
"To the Manor Born" is 'that way.' It'sa similarly scripted show to this but sans any 'lafftah'/becomes a little too 'deadpan,' y'know.
Well said, meh'friend! And wow~~it's far-out & way cool to hear your thots a whole year after I'd "so carefully analyzed" the canned-laff'ter question {haha/lol@meh'self}. I like re-trippin' a familiar footpath where the prevailing sentiment landed in favor of .... the canned kind. I know that when used discerningly, it actually serves as a sort of guidepost for the quality viewing experience. [+]eye <3 "Yes, P.M.," n'ZenSum! ^_~\\

and today feminists are everywhere, and look at the british society in 2011:
1. Unemployment
2. Crime / violence
3. Illegal migrants
4. Economy
5. Violence
6. Rape
7. Murder
8. wages
feminism is the collapse of the society

@evernetherall Actually, I prefer canned laughter. Without it I wouldn't know when to laugh.
