He is VERY athletic but needs to get used to his receiving corps his receivers are almost never in stride with his passes (makes more TDs for you high school kids before you start arguing)

could be the next Vick, but I see hell of a lot more potential in being a pocket qb.

If he and his receivers get in tune they will definately be playoff material next season

@Dustin8569 are u stupid? The panthers have had one of the hardest schedules all year plus lost like 1/2 their defense to injury, and cams only a rookie he's going to keep getting better

@captainbannana69 dude hes got weapons. steve smith, shockey, olsen, and IMO LaFell is one of our most clutch receivers. he just didnt show up the first half of the season (consistency speaking). we have seen this kid grow, though, and are witnessing history in the making. honestly, with the team we have now, and great players coming back next year (Jon Beason, Thomas Davis, David Gettis) we are hitting the playoffs next year, expect this to be a Super Bowl team led by Superman Newton

Cam Newton is a super great QB, but I think Carolina needs some receivers. Just a badass scrambler and passer QB will not solve their problems and send them to the playoffs...

It just dawned on me that we've had that play work for a TD almost everytime at 0:41 against the Cards. Delhomme threw something just like it to Smith for a wide open TD when we played them in '09.
