This is so true :) When I dream about my grandmother's house, it is always a castle with a hundred rooms to explore....this is the way I saw it as a child. In truth, it was a brick farm house with three floors and no indoor plumbing but it was full of treasures none the less. Many things in life can be seen as beautiful if you look through loving eyes.

So much truth in such a simple message; brilliant, as usual. Personally, all the "bright", modern aspects of our current schools are too much. As a child, I enjoyed the peace and beauty of a much less harried daily existence. Mr. Rogers, vs Sesame Street. Our children's lives are a "Fast Forward" VCR existence! Entertainment vs Education; mindless/shallow activity, rather than a deeper, thought provoking focus.

I'll take a stone lion over brightly painted plastic & steel, any day!
