  • gets some subtitles

  • gets some fucking subtitles

  • @SkateMyBrothers There are no words... Inuit throat singing uses sounds made by the human voices but do not actually use words. It's a sound game, not a conversation or a western style song with lyrics.

  • @SkateMyBrothers where ever this place is looks like fucking africa of the north

  • @SkateMyBrothers Dumb.

  • US Gulf of Mexico BP oil spill leak/ Hopi Prophecy, The 7th sign? "The Sea will turn BLACK"

these prophecies are happeing now, we must return to the ways of the land. i almost cry about this, i live in NB. can i come live with up near you guys and learn

  • i miss listening to elders throat singing and listen to elders singing, its been a while since i heard them. mary does radio show during working hours and i cannot listen to her,i wish they can maybe move it to evenings or 5 oclock shows instead of 1 oclock.

  • @irelandsnumber1

its only like 50 years since white people are introuced to nothern people who can stop us from eating our only food since most of the food we get are very expencive, your have had your western cutlure like hundreds of years. You should think first before talking about what you feel.

  • What sickens me is the decadence of the modern world, and all of it's abortion, consumerism, and general worthlessness. Not the sensibility of Nunavut.

  • Where, kiersten. buffalo or nunavut?

ANyway, can someone provide transcripts for people who don't know Inuktitut? lmao

  • To my way of thinking the trhoat singing indicates that the Inuits trace their ancestry and their culture to Mongolia. They must have decided to cross the Bering Strait for reasons of their own.

  • oh I just love Baker Lake throat singers

  • damn i love this country no other place like it

  • your an idiot!

  • anyone know when a good time to visit would be? I would love to see whales or polar bears.

  • Ugh, I used to live there!

  • "little", I spelt it wrong. If my comment comes off harsh, I apologize.

  • OMGosh, I can't believe you said that! lol. You're talking about a dying culture. We don't just "kill". You should listen to Sheila Watt Cloutier speak sometime. She explains it best. But yeah, I wouldn't mind going to France either. Definitely Spain and maybe Greece. See the world.

  • This is exactly why it is a dying culture. There is LITTEL understanding of the native/inuit cultures from outsiders. If you cannot understand the issue, than you cannot decide for yourself or anyone.

  • I still want to go! lol, farthest I've been is a little over the tree line and into the barren lands. Only wild life I really saw were the caribou we were tracking. The charm of living in the NWT/Nunavut has to be experienced.

  • I would love to go too. Being from Buffalo I have been to Canada a few times haha. I have alwas had a love for the far north. Buffalo geting up to -20F I know the cold haha.

  • try being in nova scotia bud....last winter high of -37

  • Oh yeah iv felt all kinds of cold. Buffalo is more snowy then crasy cold and thats only puting it with other north american major citys.

  • I guess the charm is lost on you then.

  • thank you for making this available for all to share this unique cultural experience.

  • You're very welcome... I very much enjoyed my time in Arviat...

  • It's amazing. Especially the music! Does anyone know is it possible to get cds or mp3 with traditional Inuit music? and where?

  • What will you do in Arviat?
