I sometimes get lag when viewing videos. I'm wondering is this due to my linksystem "G' router. If i upgrade to the "N" does this computer support that. In other words I'm wondering what wireless card does this computer have and will it solve my problems. I'm far from a computer guru. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

@PhenomMan1 to keep it from doing that, download both Anti-Crash and Microsoft Security Essentials. Microsoft Security Essentials is a Ant-Virus program available free at the Microsoft website while Anti-Crash is a 20-Day trial program that prevents laptop PCs from shutting down by accident. Also install American Girls Premiere and Girl Talk on it.

I bought this laptop last year in October exactly the same specs and same price even. If you want to save some headaches in the future do not buy this laptop. It overheats, the graphics card is shit. Save some headaches and get a Acer laptop. The power cord that came with it literally melted from basic internet usage. I can barely play Portal. The only game I have seen run fine on it is Flight Simulator X gold. Seriously it sucks.

GUYS DO NOT BUY GATEWAY, i have this laptop and i get a max of 1.5 hours of charge, my keys keep falling off ( even after i sent my laptop back to gateway to get fixed) i consantly been having problems getting on from day 1. Go with a different company

I just got this laptop and I LOVE it! It play's World of Warcraft very smoothly and nicely! I love this laptop and would recommend it to everyone! Just be sure to take off the plastic wrapping that it comes with. If you leave it on your laptop won't be able to breathe and will eventually die, also don't put it on Cloth surfaces.. or carpet.. or anything like that haha. I give this laptop a infinity and beyond out of 10 :)

@robsanchez120 3 hours is pretty accurate. I have the power setting on high performance mode so, 3 hours is all I can get out of a charge. If I use power saver mode its about 4 hours per charge.

@cheadessolupa LED looks better then LCD when scrolling up and down webpages and watching movies. The action on the screen is more crisp, since the LED has a faster refresh rate then LCD. The Laptop seems faster then with a LCD. Outside performance, in direct sun light is the same though.

@needhelp1990 Its a good, middle of the pack, laptop. Battery life is 3 hours so I have to bring an extra battery for my long flights. It has lots of features and software installed. It can get hot at times, but its really quiet and has a great screen. I love the video card with HDMI out, I hook it up to my 47" TV all the time. I would recommend it to everyone. If you can spend 50 bucks more then by the version with a bigger Hard drive and slightly faster processor.

@7aPRilLiA7 Thanks! Yes, Its a excellent barging and a good Laptop. If you need more then 320GB HD space you spend 50 bucks more for the version with a slightly faster processor and 500GB of HD space.

Yes it does. Especially when your charging it while in use. When your not charging it, its doesn't get to hot, but I still like to use a pillow or a book between my Lap & the NV 52

I haven't tried to use the jack since there is a built in microphone. I think you would have to go into your audio settings and the make the jack the default.

PRO'S: OLED screen, good power, built in web cam w/ mic, multi-touch mouse pad

CON'S: battery life is 3 hrs, gets really hot when on your lap & bad left & right buttons

They work just not like I'm used. I mainly use the mouse pad since its a multi-touch pad. The pad acts like a left & right button. Tap once (left click) tap once & hold (right click) on the pad. When I do gaming I use the Microsoft Arc mouse.

I would recommend this to everyone. @ $449 its priced competitively and very powerfull. However if you crave battery life, I'd purchase a more expensive model that has more than three hours of battery life or invest in a second battery. I get about 2 hrs 55 mins tops.
