  • Whats the name of the tune?

  • hippies prefer the didgeridoo because its as close as they are ever going to get to sucking a trees dick

  • @Geistmeister6 lolz

  • awesome! just the other day i was like "i wonder how a bagpipe and didgeridoo would sound together. i bet it would be great!" it is

    and wow kids...

@ 0Zolrender0 africans did not populate the whole world and then get killed off. if you're talking about pigment evolution, then what you said about giving stuff back to them makes no sense since we inherited it by adapting to our environment. just because we are no longer african does not mean that what we've claimed belongs to them. but anywho!

  • Australians have great pipe players!

  • my brain just melted..... :3

  • Bagpipe drones turned off - Don't worry, the didgeridoo is the drones.

  • pipers got no rhythm

  • My two favourite Instruments United.

  • great :D

  • why the fuck is a didg being played next to a bagpipe? coons dont work let alone fight for the country that gives them an existance. the didgeridoo isnt worthy of being next to such a instriument as the bagpipe. plus the didg isnt from all of OZ. it only came from top of NT where termintes hollowed out logs for them. anywhere else in OZ it wasnt known. If you arnt in Darwin and buy a Didg, it isnt authentic pretty much

  • @0Zolrender0 Why don't you just fuck off and go back to kissing your cousin you inbred hick...

  • @0Zolrender0

    what a stupid comment!

you think white people dont play didge too? its a valid instrument that is played all over the world by all colours and creeds, in bands, in orchestras, etc, with and including all types of instruments.... and yes sometimes even with bag pipes.

oh by the way....you 'can' buy genuine ''yidaki'' didgeridoos in most westernised cities in the world these days. well what do ya know- aboriginals have finally crawled out of the caves and learned to export. pfft!

  • @Cre8iveSignWorks actually where I live in the NT, 99.999% of aboriginals are on the dole, dont have to look for work and are lined up at the bottlo right on 2pm (opening time) and plasterd and unconcious by 6pm. then they are up at nidnight fighting, yelling and brawling all night. so really they havent made it out of the caves. oh yes, and they stink.

  • @0Zolrender0

i think you completely missed my point .

i was talking about didgeridoos, not aboriginals

  • @0Zolrender0 That's because dickheads like yourself thought it would be a great idea to take them out of their caves, where they were perfectly happy, btw, use them as slaves, killed them by the 1000's, fed them alcohol to keep them in line, dumped them in concentration camps when you were done using them, stole their land and their identity, always treated them like shit and you clearly, obviously, still don't give a fuck about them.

Give them back what is theirs!!

  • @foundation68 If we are going to give OZ back to the abos just because they were here first then we have to give all of europe and asia back to the africans (as they migrated there to settle it first). actually all of america and australia goes back to the africans too. even the middle east. wont those guys love that. being there first always in world history has ment nothing. what mattered was could you defend it? and sorry the aboriginals could not defend OZ from the white man.

  • @foundation68 also, you forget to think that they could have done way worse than have europeans settle australia. What if the japanese settled it first? their record stands as wipe the place clean of the local inhabitants bar a small few that you out in chains for slave labour, then kill them later.

  • timing is off and the baagpipe dude needs a lot more practice. I guess they never heard that before mixing two different forms you should, first, perfect both individually.

  • you've obviously never attempt to improvise on the bagpipe.

  • They are out of tune with each other. It's kind of painful to listen to actually. And they keep getting out of time with each other as well. Nice concept, but definitely needs some practice.

  • The Scottish dude should get out of Australia, he's annoying the kangaroos.

  • would love to hear a didj/bagpipes duet doing "Amazing Grace" or "Long Way to the Top"

  • the song the piper is making sound familier

  • Superb all the way fae Banff scotland .

  • Wow.... This sounds wicked... I never thought bagpipes and didgeridoos could sound good... Let alone play together... but this proved me wrong

  • Great duet.

  • pretty cool mix of culture right there

  • the didgeridoo player is good too. it's just harder to show off on a didgeridoo.

  • I agree with the last comment, the piper is very good but not the music...

  • The music isn't great but the piper's very good

  • How many types of bagpipes are there? one is the Galician from spain, middle eatern.., scottish, and then?

  • there are as many bagpipes as there are cultures overtaken by the romans, from egypt through france and the balkans.

  • nice =)

    thanks man

  • google it.

  • @condorlegion89

almost inumerable. The polish have theirs, irish war pipes, uilleann pipes, multiple middle eastern kinds, bulgarians, many mountain cultures have theirs (hence highland pipes), and many more.

  • ahhh I seee, thanks man. I love bagpipes. wish I could play one, the galician and scottish sound the best from what I´ve heard on here

  • @condorlegion89 well this is a scottish one =) its loud, but oh so awesome!

  • FRIKKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • Highland pipe.

  • this is a parlor pipe huh?

  • **Tis beautiful **

  • awsum

  • omg class!!!

  • who's the piper?

  • OMG i love it, the bagpipe player is a pro : D

  • Yuk

  • Best duo of this ilk I've yet heard. Well done laddie.

  • ACE

  • great! you hands are similar to a tunder!

  • great bagpipe performance!

  • Fabulous! Is that a Gong or Ozrics riff on the pipes?

  • mate that was bad. it could be good but the bag pipes dominated the didge. it could be good but that was out of tune, out of harmony and needs some serious work...

  • This is a brilliant idea which i want to see done, but the piper is a bit weak. Didjeridu not much better. But it's a start.

  • awesome!

  • too bad they're not playing at the same key. you need a new didge, one keyed to the bagpipes. talking of bagpipes, i can't rly hear much of the drones.

  • yeah exactly

  • .... incredible .....

  • This video should be called:

    "Scotland feat Australia"

  • LOL.

  • Who would have imagined how well these two ancient insturments seperated by 10,000 miles and even more years would go together! Great job!

  • wat a great combination go on lads

  • this guy goes hard from 0:19 wow

  • Match made in heaven!

    EPIC!

I play the bagpipes and my brother plays the Didgeridoo. We are so doin' this!

  • Fuck aye. That's some pretty tasty piping

  • awsum

  • My favorite instruments

  • my daughter and i love the bagpipes and to hear them together with the didferidoo it sounds awesome HUGS Terri

  • Far out man! :D

  • Didge needs to be one that is matched to the bagpipes, or else the bagpipes need to choose the key the didge is in.

  • noooo kidding.

  • where are the drums??

    awesome.

  • WOW! 2 very unique instruments together! sounds great!

  • what is the name of the first tune played anzone got the music ?

  • holy sh now thaty musician rocks

  • Lovely sound guys. And who doesn't love a good sunset? Beautiful.

  • Two members of the Party People Pirates of Venice, myself (Andrew Forbes) and my roommate Moglee are the artists featured here. It was a time of great musical experimentation, boundaries were transgressed and conceptual borders broken when we combined forces to find a new sound. This piece is all improvisation. Keep posted for more from these pirates in the coming months.

  • Nice, but the scottis bagpipe is so high-pitched, some other type of bagpipe who sounds more muffled had sounds better with the didgerido. Swedish ore irish bagpipe perhaps...

  • there is no bagpipe other than the highland bagpipe, all others are just wanna-be's

  • The swedish and east-europen bagpipe is mutch older than the highlandbagpipe :)

  • pirateadmiral, that's not really the case. The Uilleann pipes aren't wannabes. Neither is the gaida. o.o

  • basque bagpipe?

  • Nah, the gaida's different than the basque. Search gaida and you'll find a few vids of it. (I think that question was directed at me... O.O)

  • agreed

  • The Wicked Tinkers make it work. :D

Actually, the didge that plays with the pipes should be tuned to B flat for the best pitch, but it sounds okay. :P

  • It's tuned to G, and the wicked tinkers are lame.

  • To each his own.

  • my 2 favorite sounds

  • wat tune is tht at he plays

  • It sounds like a medley of tune segments. O.O

  • QUALITY.

  • sounds like victoria police pipe band
