@withyouxxx It's not real, but it looked really real when 'his head fell off'. I don't know how they did it, but they make sure we don't see everything that's going on and there's something Daniel, Graham or the 'machine' did that replaced Dan/ Dan's head or something similar so that Dan wouldn't be hurt. Kind of freaky stuff, though. Even though I'm sure they've made 100% sure that nothing wrong's going to happen, it's scary watching it, especially if you don't know if it could be real.

@EvilParrot1 the bottom part of the stock is rubber and has a slit down it so the person who gets 'beheaded' can move their head down into the basket, you can see when daniel puts his head in, the bottom bit has a line down it.

@VonnyRAWR Pause at 1:15 and look at the "wood" under Daniel's head. It's not solid, it looks like cardboard, some soft material in two pieces. Because of this DR can "fall with his head," there's nothing solid beneath him. At 1:12 you can see the basket has a piece missing on the inside, under DR's neck. Probably when he felt the "blade" touch him he made himself drop, and because the prop's set up to hide what's going on behind it, it looks like only his head falls.

The bottom of the hole where his head is sticking through is like a "clap door": when the knife falls, DR just lowers his head "through" the wood, between the two black curtains, into the basket. That's why it doesn't change position and falls down nose first. A fake head (or a real one chopped off ^^) would turn upside down.
