I would suggest looking into Cam Caddie before one of these. Cam Caddie can mount to it almost every home camera, including my FLIP and DSLR. It's only cost me $38 and has been highly effective helping me capture smooth shots.
I have one of these steady cams, but the major flaw with it, is weight. The fact that the iPhone4 doesn't weigh enough on it's own to be steadied. If you look at the video, there is additional weight added, I'd love to know how much, so I can sort mine out..?
