These girls put themselves out there for everyone to see and they do their best..besides the low landing on a very hard element and the step out of bound this routine was pretty good and at least she did some from of dance
do brazilians just hate americans for winning all the time?? During shawn's final no one cheered they just booed during her tumbles to distract her. And here they cheer loudly for canada! ( nothing against canada) The 2016 olympics are gonna stink
@Gymnast861 I doubt the home crowd in 2016 is going to be as rude as they were here, despite their current president not wanting "the gringos to win any medals."
Most of these girls seem to have no fun while performing. It must be frightening, but I would feel better if these young girls looked like some of their hard work was fun.
She is a powerful tumbler and an energetic performer. I think she was fully capable of landing her double arabian better. She must have just lost herself a little bit. Love the suit but not so much the colours.

ELyse was an exception, but she would not have made the usa team. As a junior, she was way better then any of the other usa gymnasts. Some of them are totally out of it. i think her style is reminiscent of pang panpan, but her choreography is very childish and immature. i think allyse ishino's style fit this music better.
i seen alot of bent legs and flexed feet.and it buds me how big her steps are....i didnt like the dance..or the music but i think she is an awsome gymnast could just use better coaches or choreographors(if thts how you spell it)

That choreo is way better than the majority of what you see on today's international scene, and it actually fits the music for the most part. She is young and needs polish, no doubt, but in a couple of years she may very well be a world all-around contender.
I'm growing on her, but what the hell is her choreographer doing to her!!! 0:52 - Geez, that's scraping the bottom of the "dance moves" barrel... She looks like she has fantastic energy which I love though so I'm sure things will only improve. And I also agree - get rid of the pukey leotards Canada - there is nothing wrong with red and white!!!
The choreagraphy in this routine doesn't suit her body well. A taller gymnast like Khorkina or Olaru could've gotten away with this style, but it just wasn't flattering with Peng. She needs to slow down, learn to be more graceful and like krell88 mentioned above, she needs to be more polished and precise.
Gotta give that girl some credit after the beam final. Don't really care for her dance, it's a little bit too fast for my taste, but at least she has style. That leo is horrid though, maybe that's what's ruining it for me..lol
