That's the neat thing about this song...you can play several different chords and it still sounds good. I play the chorus C-G-Gm-D-A-B and then B-C back and forth, but if you look around you see folks playing all kinds of chords on this song.

I've read where Jimmy Webb used a lot of different chords because of the great melodies of his songs and a lot of them aren't covered because it's hard to figure them out by ear..now in the age of youtube that's changing. :)
