Dan, you changed your name!! Great hunt and finds! Was that area trashy and you just didn't dig the trashy signals? What camera are you using? I love the macro on it! That Canadian dime is really nice. Those silver coins came out with a very nice patina on them. HH!
Yeah, there's trash in the ground there. I didn't dig most of the low tones and focused on targets with a conductivity number of 44 or higher that were 4 or more inches deep. The camera is a Kodak Zi6. It's great for the kind of filming we do. The lens is completely internal. The telescoping lenses on two previous cameras I used broke. Thanks for the comments, Daddydigger1! Best of Luck in your hunts.
Great hunt Dan, I like that Canadian dime, It would seem the SEF coil is working well, is it much lighter than the 12x15? Anyway, congrats on some great finds, looking forward to more from you. Thanks for taking us along. David
Great hunt Dan ! .....to cherry pick, lock on target and squeeze them Silvers out of the ground like you do is real wild to watch ! ...................Excellent hunt !
Thanks, Yulelah. I look forward to every one of your videos. Thanks for keeping me motivated over the long, cold winter up here! I wish you the very best Luck in your hunting.
Thanks, Dave. Shoot, I give all your videos 5 Stars before I even watch them - just to get it out of the way so I can sit back and enjoy watching the best hunting on the net.
Let's see how good my memory is. Deep on. Fast off. High trash. Ground difficult. Variability 30. Limits 30. Gain 30. I was using auto +3 sensitivity. Conduct sound. Multi tones. Threshold pitch 20. Every thing else, I think, is default.
That 1942 is sweet. On the Canadian dime I thought you were going to say Seated! When I first saw it I thought Barber but its something special anyway. Wow what a hunt. Great video.
Excellent start for the year Dan! Not very often you find more silver than wheats unless you get a coin spill. Congrats on a great hunt and video. I may even get back in the game tomorrow if it doesn't rain. HH
Thanks for the comment, Vidslayer. I actually got a lot of what I believed were wheat signals. There was a threat of rain so I was cherry picking and passed on a lot of signals I would normally dig. If I wasn't in cherry picking mode, I would have dug a LOT more trash too!

Awesome Video :D
Do you have any tips for someone who has just started?
And do you have any places in particular to recommend in Ohio?
