Awesome bike bro. I have a 2005 yamaha vstar and I was looking into getting a sports bike. I was looking into a 2007 gixxer 600 but I found that a 2005 Hayabusa was roughly the same price. I think I'm going to go for the Busa since it feels like a more comfortable bike to ride and the 600 looks to be pretty harsh on streets. How comfortable is the ride on your Busa?
It's very comfortable for me. I'm 6'2", now about 240 lbs. It fits me great. The seat is fairly wide and you're not nearly as cramped up as you would be on a 600. But it can be a trade-off if you are only interested in carving hard, the 600 is a lot more nimble - easier to toss around. The Busa was the only way to go for me though!!! Ride safe!

@DjJannoEuroRave The Busa truly is every bit as amazing as it's made out to be. I've never been on (or in) anything as fast! But, if it's gonna be your first bike take it SUPER easy for the first 1,000 or more miles. Also, I recommend going to your local Motorcycle Safety School if possible. You WON'T regret it. Have fun!!
dude i have the same exact bike in blue 07' just like yours. i just bought it last week with no miles..i love the bike and your right about respecting it part, it needs respect. i just broke 600 miles on it in less than a week haha.
I lived in Tokyo for 20 years until last March. The guys who designed, tested and built the bike are my size. It fits me perfectly, better than the many bkikes I've owned since I was 17... :- )

You are a big dude,a dn seem level headed. I jsut have a thing about people who cant ride a 60's technology bike buying a stealth fighter like that. When you get a bit of confidence, its so easy to get over confident on that thing.
That thing has more in common with an F16 than my 82 Sporty.
Sweet bike man but kinda quiet. I have an '07 Busa myself, I installed a pair of Yoshi can and it sounds awesome. Not too loud but it gives you that sweet hum when your riding especially above the speed limit. I also installed a pair of Heli Bars, oh man heaven. I took it on a 400 mile trek one day and no tired back. Anyways keep cool and don't be squid, if you know what I mean. Hope to see more videos from you with your Busa.

Personally, I just really love motorcycles in general. (My wife rides a much lighter Suzuki SV650S and there is something to be said for their quickness and agility. Is the 08 Busa faster than the 08 zx14? That's one of the toughest questions out there right now. They say the zx14 has the edge in top speed by a couple miles an hour! But most of the track testing proves that the Busa and the zx14 are too close to call (depends on rider). Also they say if you're looking for the more "comfortable" bike go with the zx14. If you're looking for a more "twisty friendly" bike, it's the Busa! Also in my opinion the Busa looks F'ing SICK!!! Good luck! Ride safe!
