If it is very slippery and easy to take out of your pocket, wouldn't that just make it easier for it to fall out or get stolen?

Interesting point, however I don't think that would be a huge issue. Maybe if you were wearing a sweater or something with a big pocket. There is still some rubber/gripping showing around the corner of the case as well.
