  • I love my groove ride and sound edge hi hats. Solid cymbals for the price.

  • Paiste is by far the best cymbals out there. Way better than Sabian. I have the full set of the Black alpha. Very nice cymbals with a darker sound compared to the standard finished alphas. Rudes will be my next choice of cymbals.

  • He was at 2011 districts in green bay Wisconsin he's a beast same exact setup but his kit was red!!!

  • amazing cymbals, amazing drummer

  • FOR GOD SAKE PEOPLE IT (PIE-STEE) EVERY ONES LIKE (PI_ASTA) (PASTA.. MAMAMIA) PASTE.. PISTA... ITS FUCKING PAISTE!

  • why is this guy endorsed anyone??

  • they look great but the hi-hats arent the greatest, i also prefer rude crashes

  • Ich liebe diese Serie! Hab ich auch zum Teil! Hol mir aber ein komplettes Set! Cooles Inreview!

    PAISTE FOR EVER! <3

  • These sound awesome!! Why didn't I know about these sooner?

  • Anyone noticed that on his bass reso it says "shine" which means "Paiste" in English? :D

  • @Gargiuloth2 haha, totally true dude, but Shine is also a brand. But it's still cool.

  • whats the durability like on these cymbals compaired to the rudes?

  • should i buy paiste alpha medium or rock? i have a tama superstar hyperdrive and play music like red hot chili peppers, paramore etc.

  • Listening is the key.

  • Well it's what you like the most! The best thing to do is to try out the cymbals first! If you are a heavy hitter then you should go for the Rock cymbals.

  • It depends on you, but I'd choose the medium, even though I play metal. The rock hi-hats don't usually sound so good. Rock crashes are great, but not hihats

  • paiste alpha 4 sure

  • every brand should do vids like this one!

  • dpends what you want, if you want bright sounding cymbals get these, if you want loud and aggressive cymbals get the sabian xs20's

  • Im stuck between Paiste Alpha or Sabian xs20

  • alpha alll the way

    pros actually play them!!!

    that should say enough

  • those are both amazing cymbal series....i'd probably pick the alphas

  • Paiste Alphas are a pro-line cymbal that is affordable for all. Yes they are bright but they retain a very musical soundl. I have heard Alpha's up against Zildjian A-cust and Sabian AA and the are right on par, and 20-30% less. Sabian XS are very cheap sounding cymbals to me. They rank right in with Zildjian ZHT.

    My 2 cents

  • Believe me, go for Alpha. They sound way better than Sabian.

  • same

  • They're AWESOME cymbals. I currently own the 18" Rock Crash and the 18" Rock China. Both are GREAT for ANY type of music.

  • Is it wrong to pronounce these 'paste' ?

  • Paste is something we use to stick paper together!

    Paiste (pies-tee), rhymes with feisty.

  • i like it

  • @PaisteChannel

is it right, that paiste is a swiss trademark?

  • @MrRockfreak yap that's right!

  • @EvilMonk100 holy f*ck, now i'm proud to be swiss! :D

  • @MrRockfreak yeah :D greetings from germany ;)

  • @EvilMonk100 sags doch gleich :)

  • @RobAintGangsta haha i've been saying "paste" since i fisrt read the name...

it's gonna be hard for me, going to the states and asking for a "piestee" alpha ride...

  • i really like the way the crashes look, the colour the hammer holes, and the fact that its pretty flat, kinda

  • hey guys, anyone know anyone who has a video of a 19" paiste alpha rock crash? im interested in buying one..

  • ive got alphas and i think there awsome the rock china is not as good as the sensitive china though but there cheep and awsome sounding :)

  • whats better between the rock and medium crashes? i'm afraid thew mediums with be too thin and shallow sounding but that the rock crashes will be too beefy and less musical sounding. should i get one of each?

  • I tried some of these Alpha line cymbals at GC today. The sound of the 22" ride was better to my ears than the K and A zildjian rides that I tried out.

  • he's using a groove ride as a crash????!!!?

  • i use my ride as a crash too sometimes

    sounds really heavy :D

  • im thinking about upgrading my kit, what would everyone reccomend...

    PAISTE ALPHAS or MEINL MB8s?

  • alphas 100%

  • paiste alphas cheap and awesome

  • i use half paiste alphas half meinl mb8s. I prefer the meinls, but the paistes are much better value for money.

  • that ride is very nice, especially the bell!

would be better if his crashes were smaller though

  • anyone looking to buy these in the uk? iv just got 5 of these fom rockem muisc, BRILLIANT...

  • sounds awesome yeah

  • are you guys sure these are mid range?

cuz it looks like alot of pros are using'em and i dont get why they wouldnt use

    paiste's top lines

  • they are classified by paiste as mid range semi professional, the price follows that claim as well, they really are fantastic cymbals, not just because of the price but becuse of that typical paiste sound, awesome!

  • hmm the drummer of trapt did a whole tour

    and 5 finger's drummer used'em too

but ur right i was on paiste's website and checked

  • its because even the mid class cymbals are fucking awesome!

  • PaisTe alpha are the best.Mid Range paiste but soung better than top end of ANY other brand

  • I'm thinking of getting a bunch of these for my kit, how do they compare to SABIAN AAX?

  • paiste are so nice, these are the mid range series and sound better than most of the zildjians and sabian top end, id say only the ks and HH series have more tone

  • eh i dont know about that

  • @TomakaBonzo sorry bro, K's and HH's being hand hammerd doesnt mean better sound, im tired of ppl who dont know bout cymbals saying the best are HH, K... not the best but diferent sounds, they alphas are great! I had those, but nothing compared to my aax - k custom hybrids.

  • @TomakaBonzo and vault :)

  • they sound awsome!

  • Nice
