@196Conni Well Alex was always somewhat dumb and had commitment issues, like look what he did to Izzy in Season 1..... but I think what really happened here was the writers changing their minds about getting them together. It just sucks cause they had built it all up so nicely just to kill it :(

Unfortunately because Kate Walsh got her own show, Private Practice, they didn't keep the "relationship" going. She left Seattle Grace as friends with him though. They sleep together once and then he's an ass to her after that until right before she leaves.
