I was in Pattaya May of 2010 and 9 other times going back to 2004.  Walked by this "complex" every night on the way back to my hotel which was just down the street, Soi 11. This street leads up to Soi bukao from second road and is where Soi LK Metro is. Pattaya has changed more than I would like, but I still go back. Trip 11 in November I think.

This clip is from April 2004 so things may well have changed. Mem's is just one small bar in a cluster of about a dozen similar venues next to (guest friendly) Areca Lodge. Pattaya must have a thousand bars like this one, plus a host of more upmarket Go-Go clubs. You can have an incredible time in Pattaya but it can also be a minefield for the unwary. If you are 1st time in Thailand I STRONGLY recommend you checkout the Stickman website before boarding your flight. . Enjoy!

i appreciate ur efforts mate, i understand pattaya is a whole new ball game but i have been to kohsamui over the last 9 years so i familiar with the concept just not the intensity of what pattaya is but none the less i am appreciative of ur efforts as pattaya as is as unique as going to another country
